The world’s busiest airport is getting several new routes from Frontier Airlines. The low-cost airline has announced 9 new routes from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), including several international destinations.

Here’s what you need to know.

Frontier Airlines Expands in ATL

Frontier Airlines announced on February 27 that it would start service to 9 new destinations from Atlanta (ATL). The new routes begin in late May and will continue to roll out through mid-June, the height of the summer travel season.

All told, Frontier says it will increase departures by 40% year-over-year at ATL, serving more than 50 destinations. These include new international destinations, like Oranjestad, Aruba (AUA), and San Pedro Sula, Honduras (SAP).

While Atlanta is Delta Air Lines‘ headquarters, Frontier has a growing presence there. The airline says it is ATL’s “fastest growing U.S. carrier” by destinations served.
