Frontier Airlines is out with a new promotion to celebrate Travel Tuesday. It offers flyers the chance to earn elite status after just 2 round-trip flights, which is an excellent opportunity for anyone who flies with Frontier often — or is planning to do so over the course of the next year.

Here’s how it works.

Earn Frontier Elite Status With Just 2 Round-Trip Flights

Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines is offering its Frontier Miles members a shortcut to earn up to Elite Platinum status all the way through 2027.

First, you’ll need to register for the promotion. Then, if you book 2 round-trip tickets totaling at least $300 by December 9, 2025, and travel by March 11, 2026, you’ll receive Elite Gold status through the end of 2026.

If you want higher-tier Elite Platinum status, purchase 3 or more round-trip flights that total at least an additional $450 (for a total promotion spend of at least $750) and travel by September 30, 2026, to earn Platinum status all the way through 2027.

Frontier Gold status offers Preferred Seat selection at booking, Premium Seat upgrades at check-in, UpFront Plus upgrades 4 hours before departure, upgrades to Frontier’s forthcoming first class product (coming in 2026), a free carry-on bag, no change or cancellation fees, Group 1 boarding for the status holder (plus Group 4 boarding for their companions), and more.

Meanwhile, Platinum status offers everything Gold does plus unlimited companion travel, Premium Seat upgrades at booking, UpFront Plus upgrades 12 hours before departure, first class upgrades, free carry-on and checked bags for everyone on the reservation, Group 1 boarding for everyone on the reservation, a 50% savings on a Discount Den membership, and more.

If you meet the threshold for Platinum status through this promotion, Frontier says it will be reflected in your account “within 3 days of completing qualifying travel.”

Here are a few more terms and conditions you should be aware of:

Spending requirements can be met through airfare and ancillary purchases.
Registration must be completed at least 24 hours before departure.
Taxes, fees, and membership fees do not count toward the spending requirements.
Award and GoWild flights are not eligible for this promotion.
