Frontier Airlines, the low-cost airline, just announced an exciting new addition to its route map, with the launch of service between Orlando (MCO) and St. Maarten (SXM).

Frontier has launched a new service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) in St. Maarten. Service will operate once weekly on Saturdays on Frontier’s Airbus A321 aircraft.
“Orlando is one of Frontier’s largest bases, and we’re thrilled to offer even more service from Central Florida, particularly to this exciting Caribbean destination,” said Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President of Commercial, Frontier Airlines.
If you aren’t familiar, St. Maarten (the Netherlands side; the French side is St. Martin) is one of the most picturesque destinations in the Caribbean. AvGeeks will also appreciate the island for another reason: Maho Beach (pictured below) is a popular spot to watch planes land at the nearby airport.
Frontier is offering introductory fares starting at just $99 one-way to celebrate the new route.
Keep in mind that there are several things to know before you book. Fares must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. ET on June 16, 2023, for travel through July 28, 2023, on Saturdays. July 1, 2023, is a blackout date, and a 7-day advance purchase is required.

Frontier is also running its GoWild! pass for the fall and winter, which is valid for travel from September 2, 2023, through February 29, 2024. Travelers can book flights to over 85 destinations, including international cities across Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America.
