Some huge news from Frontier Airlines today: The low-cost carrier has announced a slate of new offers, including companion certificates, opportunities to match your miles, and instant elite status.

“We’re proving that low-fare travel can also be the most rewarding,” said Bobby Schroeter, chief commercial officer at Frontier Airlines. “With companion certificates, Miles Match from multiple airlines, and the opportunity to receive instant Elite Gold Status with Frontier, no other U.S. airline is giving travelers this much value.”

New Frontier Promotions — The Details

Let’s start with the benefits Frontier Airlines is adding for Frontier Airlines World Mastercard^® cardmembers. The airline is offering the ability to earn companion travel certificates — in addition to the existing rewards you already earn on the card.

From now through January 31, 2026, you can earn companion travel certificates with the following spending: 

• First certificate: $3,000 in purchases  
• Second certificate: $10,000 in purchases  
• Third certificate: $20,000 in purchases  
• Unlimited companion travel: $50,000 in purchases  

The certificate covers your companion’s ticket on future travel with Frontier, minus taxes and fees, which start at $5.60.

Next up, Frontier is allowing new Frontier Miles members to match their miles with their existing loyalty programs. The airline will match the miles you’ve earned with other airlines when you earn that same number of miles with Frontier in the next 12 months — up to 1 million miles.
