There’s a new reason to start dreaming about a Los Cabos getaway. The Grand Hyatt Los Cabos Resort, Golf & Spa is expected to open in the second half of 2026, and reservations are now available for travelers ready to lock in a future stay.

Even better, the resort will be the world’s first all-inclusive Grand Hyatt, giving World of Hyatt members an exciting new way to earn and redeem points in one of Mexico’s most popular beach destinations.

Let’s take a look at what travelers can expect from this exciting new opening.

Grand Hyatt Los Cabos Will Bring a More Upscale All-Inclusive Option to Cabo

The Grand Hyatt Los Cabos Resort, Golf & Spa will be part of the oceanfront OLEADA Pacific Living & Golf community, about 15 minutes west of downtown Cabo San Lucas. When it opens, expect 301 rooms and suites, 11 restaurants and bars, 6 pools, a sprawling spa, and an Ernie Els-designed championship golf course.

This is a big deal for Hyatt because it’ll be the first all-inclusive Grand Hyatt anywhere in the world. If you’ve stayed at the family-friendly Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, think of this as a more upscale alternative. The new resort is expected to offer a higher-end Grand Hyatt experience with a greater focus on golf, wellness, and a prime Pacific Coast location near Cabo San Lucas.

The opening also continues Hyatt’s push into luxury all-inclusive resorts. Along with the upcoming Park Hyatt Riviera Maya, which is expected to become the first all-inclusive Park Hyatt, it’s clear Hyatt is bringing more of its premium brands into the all-inclusive space.

How To Book

While Hyatt still hasn’t announced an exact opening date beyond the second half of 2026, we did a little digging. At the time of writing, we’re seeing both cash and award stays available to book starting on February 15, 2027.

Cash rates begin at around $500 per night. If you’re redeeming World of Hyatt points, Grand Hyatt Los Cabos is a World of Hyatt Category E all-inclusive resort, with award nights ranging from 35,000 to 75,000 points for double occupancy.

Based on our searches, though, most nights are currently priced at 55,000 points.

The good news is that those rates cover much more than just your room. As an all-inclusive resort, your stay includes meals, snacks, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, entertainment, and many on-property activities, making it much easier to know what your vacation will cost before you arrive.

While 55,000 points per night is more than you’d pay at many standard Hyatt hotels, it makes more sense when you consider everything that’s included, along with Hyatt’s positioning of this property as a premium Grand Hyatt resort in Los Cabos.

Hot Tip:

If you’re looking to book this new all-inclusive option or another Hyatt property, one of the easiest ways to earn more World of Hyatt points is by transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio. Keep in mind that transfer ratios to World of Hyatt for some Chase cards are scheduled to change on October 1, 2026, so be sure to check your card’s current transfer rate before moving points.

Final Thoughts

Grand Hyatt Los Cabos is shaping up to be one of Hyatt’s most interesting Mexico openings. It gives travelers another all-inclusive option in Los Cabos beyond Hyatt Ziva, but with a more upscale Grand Hyatt angle and a Pacific coast location near Cabo San Lucas.

For World of Hyatt members, the big news is that the resort is already bookable with cash and points. If you’re considering an all-inclusive trip to Cabo in 2027, this is one property worth considering.
