Hilton has opened yet another all-inclusive resort in Cancun — and it’s now bookable with Hilton Honors points!

Here’s what to know about this new luxury resort!

Becomes Hilton’s 90th Hotel in Mexico

Located in Cancun’s so-called “Zona Hotelera,” the recently-renovated Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe All-Inclusive Resort has nearly 550 rooms, including 81 suites. All rooms offer either ocean or beachfront views.

The all-ages resort offers 8 dining options, an adults-only pool, a family-friendly pool, a fitness center, and a spa alongside 600 square feet of private beach.

Nightlife, shopping malls, ancient Mayan temples, and golf courses are all within 6 miles of the resort, Hilton says.

“The resort is an important addition to our rapidly expanding footprint in the Mexican resorts and all-inclusive market and demonstrates Hilton’s ability to deliver an unparalleled experience and superior stay to guests from around the globe,” said Jorge Giannattasio, Senior Vice President and Head of Operations, Caribbean and Latin America at Hilton.

This becomes Hilton’s 90th hotel in Mexico and joins other all-inclusive resorts in the region, including high-end all-inclusive options such as Hilton CancunHilton Tulum Riviera Maya, and Hilton Vallarta Riviera.

Bottom Line:

Across the Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton says it has more than 200 hotels open and an additional 110 properties in the pipeline.

How To Book Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe

The Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe is now open for guests. The resort is participating in the Hilton Honors program, so you can earn and redeem Hilton Honors points during your stay.

You’ll find rates as low as 68,000 points per night, but award nights generally seem to hover around 100,000 points per night, especially throughout 2024. Additionally, you’ll find cash rates around $400 per night next spring.

Hilton doesn’t use an award chart anymore, a trend similar to other major hotel companies, but utilizes variable award pricing. When using variable pricing, the points required for an award night can be higher or lower depending on your travel dates.

Fortunately, it’s pretty easy to earn Hilton Honors points, whether you’re a longtime loyalist or a casual fan. You can earn points through the hotel chain’s co-branded credit cards, transferring points from American Express, taking a Lyft, or eating out with Hilton Honors Dining.

Final Thoughts

Cancun has no shortage of luxurious all-inclusive resorts, so this new property will fit right in. With reasonable cash rates, this resort could be an excellent option for an affordable vacation!
