If you’re already planning travel for spring, why not get some extra points while you’re at it? Hilton Honors has a new promotion for double points until the end of April, which can help you boost your points balance.

On top of this offer, Hilton has other promotions worth looking at, from the economy brand Spark to its most exclusive properties.

Here’s a closer look at the details.

Hilton’s Double Points Promotion

Hilton’s newest promotion allows guests to earn 2x points on stays at all properties around the world.

Registration is required, and we suggest taking a few seconds to add the promo to your account, even if you aren’t sure you’ll stay at a Hilton property in the next few months.

This promotion applies to stays until April 30, 2025. You must check out on or before April 30, 2025, to qualify for the extra points.

Keep in mind that you’ll earn 2x on the number of base points. You’ll also earn your normal elite tier bonuses and credit card points on top of the promotion, but those points aren’t doubled.

This is a worldwide promotion, so any Hilton-branded hotel worldwide will count. There’s no limit to the number of bonus points you can earn with this offer.

There’s also a targeted Hilton offer here for double points on a stay within 4 months of registering; registration closes on December 31, 2025. If you’re eligible, it might be worth waiting to register for this until the global promotion ends on April 30.

Hot Tip:

You don’t need to rebook any existing Hilton stays that were made prior to registering for the double-points promo. Any registered guests with nights within the promo period will receive the bonus regardless of when a reservation was booked.

Is It Worth It?

We value Hilton points at 0.5 cents each. You’ll earn 10 base points per $1 spent at most Hilton brands, and remember that bonus points from your elite status aren’t doubled.

This means you can earn 20 points per $1 spent at most Hilton properties with the current promotion. That’s 10 cents worth of points for every $1 you spend, or an extra 5 cents above what you normally get.

Should you rearrange your travel plans to get an extra 5 cents for each dollar you spend? Probably not. And that’s especially true if you have to book a more expensive hotel with Hilton than a hotel from another brand, just so you can get these double points. However, if you were planning a trip and a Hilton property aligns with that, this can be an easy way to get extra points.

Hilton’s 3 Other Current Promotions

Besides the double points offer, there are currently 3 other promotions from Hilton you should know about.

The first lets you earn 1,000 bonus points per night at Spark Hotels. You can earn bonus points on up to 7 consecutive nights, for up to 7,000 bonus points per stay. This offer does not have an end date. Spark is a “premium economy” brand that Hilton describes as providing “reliable essentials and friendly service” at an affordable price.

You can also get 1,000 bonus points per night, or 5,000 bonus points with a stay of three or more nights, at new properties. This offer applies to participating new and renovated hotels within the Hilton portfolio.

Finally, when using points at Waldorf Astoria, LXR, and Conrad properties, you can add a complimentary fourth night to your stay. The terms do not list an end date, but require a 3-day advance reservation and a minimum stay of 4 consecutive nights, with a maximum of 7.

Final Thoughts

While it likely won’t make sense to go out of your way to earn double points, if a Hilton property fits into your upcoming travel plans, it’s a good idea to get some extra points.

There are 3 other promotions worth considering, applying to Hilton properties that range from budget-friendly brand, Spark, to the chain’s top offerings like Waldorf Astoria.
