If you thought Hilton’s recent promotion for 1,500 bonus points on each stay wasn’t great, you aren’t alone. Luckily, we’ve got good news: Hilton has upped the number of points available.

As of October 23, you can now earn 2,500 bonus points per stay — 1,000 more than this promotion was previously offered. Even better, if you’re already at a Hilton property, you’re eligible for this new bonus as long as you’re checking out after the points bonus increase.

On top of this offer, Hilton has other promotions worth looking at, from the economy brand Spark to its most exclusive properties.

Here’s a closer look at the details.

Hilton’s ‘Stay More, Earn More’ Promotion

Hilton Honors members can earn 2,500 bonus points for each stay, whether paid or award, valid for stays completed between October 23 and December 31, 2025. This offer originally started on October 1 and was offering 1,500 bonus points per stay.

Registration is required, and we suggest taking a few seconds to add the promo to your account, even if you aren’t sure you’ll stay at a Hilton property in the next few months.

This promotion applies to stays from October 23 to December 31, 2025. If you check in before October 1, your stay still qualifies if you check out after October 1. However, guests who check into a hotel before December 31 and check out after that date won’t earn bonus points under this offer.

Even better, guests who checked in before October 23 will be eligible for the higher earning rate (2,500 points instead of 1,500) if they check out after the change. That’s a nice touch.

This is a worldwide promotion, so any Hilton-branded hotel worldwide will count. There’s no limit to the number of bonus points you can earn with this offer. However, you’ll only earn bonus points once per stay, even if you check out and then immediately check in again at the same property.

There’s also a targeted Hilton offer here for double points on a stay within 4 months of registering; registration closes on December 31, 2025.

Hot Tip:

You don’t need to rebook any existing Hilton stays that were made prior to registering for the Stay More, Earn More promo. Any registered guests with nights within the promotional period will receive the bonus regardless of when a reservation was booked.

Is It Worth It?

We value Hilton points at 0.5 cents each. That means you’d earn $12.50 worth of points per stay with the 2,500 bonus points.

Should you rearrange your travel plans to earn 2,500 bonus points per stay? Probably not. And that’s especially true if booking Hilton — instead of some other brand — means you’re paying more than $12.50 to stay with Hilton, rather than some other hotel brand, just to earn 2,500 points.

However, if you were planning a trip and a Hilton property aligns with that, this can be an easy way to get extra points.

Hilton’s 3 Other Current Promotions

Besides the Points Plus offer, there are currently 3 other promotions from Hilton you should know about.

The first lets you earn 1,000 bonus points per night at Spark Hotels. You can earn bonus points on up to 7 consecutive nights, for up to 7,000 bonus points per stay. This offer does not have an end date. Spark is a “premium economy” brand that Hilton describes as providing “reliable essentials and friendly service” at an affordable price.

You can also get 1,000 bonus points per night at new hotels or 5,000 bonus points with a stay of 3+ more nights at new properties. This offer applies to participating new and renovated hotels within the Hilton portfolio.

Finally, when using points at Waldorf Astoria, LXR, Conrad, NoMad, and Signia by Hilton properties, you can add a complimentary fourth night to your stay. The terms do not list an end date but require a 3-day advance reservation and a minimum stay of 4 consecutive nights, with a maximum stay of 7 nights.

Final Thoughts

While it likely won’t make sense to go out of your way to earn 2,500 points, if a Hilton property fits into your upcoming travel plans, it’s a good idea to get some extra points.

There are 3 other promotions worth considering, as well, applying to Hilton properties that range from budget-friendly brand, Spark, to the chain’s top offerings like Waldorf Astoria.
