Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Black Friday deals are a dime a dozen these days, but this is certainly one you’ll want to pay attention to.

Hulu is offering the chance to get a yearlong subscription for just $0.99 per month — a savings of 90% over the typical monthly cost of a subscription. However, if you combine this offer with a shopping portal offer, the cash-back you’ll earn makes your next year of Hulu completely free.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Hulu’s Black Friday Promotion

“New and eligible returning customers” can sign up for a yearlong Hulu (with ads) subscription for just $0.99 per month between now and December 2, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PT.

In addition, you can step up to the Hulu (with ads) and Disney+ (with ads) bundle for just $2.99 for 12 months.

If you take advantage of this promotion, your subscription will auto-renew at the end of the 12-month period at $9.99 per month for just Hulu or $10.99 per month for Hulu and Disney+, respectively. Note that you can cancel online or over the phone at any time.

The terms and conditions state that this promotion is not available for anyone who currently has a Hulu account or has canceled their subscription within the last 30 days. Current subscribers can’t change their existing plans to take advantage of this promotion, either.

However, if you already have an account, you could, in theory, cancel your current subscription and make an entirely new account to score this discounted year of streaming.

But wait, there’s more!

A Hulu offer from TopCashback can give you $12 in cash-back, and the offer is even highlighting Hulu’s 99 cents offer. When combining these offers, your next year of Hulu can be completely free — actually, you’ll get paid 12 cents to have the subscription. Winning.

Best Cards To Use for Streaming Services

Whether you pay for 1 or multiple streaming services each month, you’ll want to make sure that you’re using a credit card that rewards you for these transactions. For example, some cards offer elevated cash-back or points-earning benefits on transactions with streaming services.

Others, meanwhile, provide monthly credits that completely cover the cost of a Hulu subscription (or other select services).

Final Thoughts

This is a Black Friday deal that’s worth your time. Streaming services are part and parcel of our daily lives, so the opportunity to score one of the biggest names in the game for just $0.99 per month for an entire year is an exciting prospect. It’s even better when combined with an offer for $12 in cash-back, paying you a few cents to hold the subscription for a year.

If you think you want to take advantage, remember to sign up before the offer expires on December 2!
