Back in 2022, Hyatt announced it would acquire Dream Hotel Group, and in February, the chain completed that transaction. Today, Hyatt has announced the completion of the integration of the Dream Hotels brand, as well as The Chatwal, The Time New York, and Unscripted hotels.

Here’s what you need to know!

Dream Hotels Joins Hyatt’s Boundless Collection

The following hotels are now bookable directly through Hyatt:

Dream Hotels will join the Boundless Collection, The Chatwal New York will join the Independent Collection, The Chatwal Lodge will join the Unbound Collection, and The Time New York and Unscripted Durham will be part of the JdV by Hyatt brand.

“Dream Hotel Group properties bring modern design and thoughtfully curated programming to entertain, connect and better serve our guests and members, further enriching our growing lifestyle portfolio,” said Amy Weinberg, Senior Vice President of Loyalty, Brand Marketing, and Consumer Insights, Hyatt.

“With the increasing demand for exceptional leisure travel options, we’re excited to provide our members with expanded options to earn and redeem at exquisite properties that offer a fresh perspective on the guest experience,” Weinberg continued.

How To Book

The above hotels can now be booked directly on Hyatt’s website. Most of the hotels are World of Hyatt Category 6 properties, which means award nights start at 21,000 points per night (off-peak), and top off at 29,000 points per night (peak). The Chatwal Lodge is an all-inclusive Category F property, meaning nights start at 42,000 points per night and can go as high as 58,000 points per night.

While it’s not the easiest to earn World of Hyatt points, if you have a card that earns Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards points, you can transfer them to World of Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio.

Hot Tip:

If you’re low on points, you can consider opening either The World of Hyatt Credit Card or World of Hyatt Business Credit Card. Both cards offer bonus points as part of their welcome offers and additional points for making purchases with the card in certain spending categories.

To celebrate the integration, World of Hyatt is running a promotion where you can register for a new welcome offer at participating Dream hotels. You’ll earn 1,000 bonus points per eligible night, up to 10,000 bonus points, for nights between July 6, 2023, and September 15, 2023. Make sure you’re registered by August 15, 2023.

Additionally, Hyatt is offering 500 bonus points per qualifying night at The Chatwal Lodge and The Time New York for qualifying nights through July 31, 2023, and at Unscripted Durham through September 30, 2023.

Final Thoughts

It’s great that these hotels across the country are now integrated under the World of Hyatt umbrella. Even better: several are offering promotions to drum up interest in and buzz around the properties. If you’re planning a trip, make sure to take a look at these new properties, now under multiple luxury Hyatt brands!
