We’ve got great news for fans of all-inclusive resorts — the new Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya is now accepting reservations for stays beginning December 1, 2022.
Let’s take a look at all the important details of this new resort.
New Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya Is Now Accepting Reservations
Hyatt has a new all-inclusive resort opening on December 1, 2022, in the Riviera Maya area of Mexico. Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya is conveniently located about 20 minutes north of Playa del Carmen and about 1 hour south of Cancún.
This adults-only all-inclusive resort is set on 70 acres overlooking the Caribbean Sea and features a plethora of amenities. Guests will enjoy the included food and drink options at the resort’s 4 restaurants or 5 bars and lounges. The beach club features live DJs while a central lounge is a great spot to relax with a cocktail.
There’s also a white-sand beach, an outdoor pool, a spa, and a fitness center.
The resort’s 290 guest rooms are decorated in a neutral palette with Caribbean-chic vibes. Select room categories have private plunge pools, swim-up access, or even a private rooftop terrace.
How To Book Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya
You can book Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya now on hyatt.com for reservations beginning December 1, 2022. Prices for stays during Winter 2022-2023 start at ~$400 for 2 people. Since the hotel will be managed by Playa Hotels & Resorts, it’s also bookable via playaresorts.com.
This resort is currently listed as a Category 2, which means it could cost 6,500 points per night (off-peak), 8,000 points per night (standard), or 9,500 points per night (peak). However, since all of the other Hyatt Zilara properties use Hyatt’s separate all-inclusive awards chart, we expect this will change.
Unfortunately, regardless of what category this resort ends up being in, we weren’t able to find any nights that were bookable with points anyways.
We hope that by the time the hotel is up and running you’ll be able to book with points because you can get some great value from your World of Hyatt points by booking all-inclusive properties
Final Thoughts
Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya, a new Hyatt resort in Mexico, is now accepting reservations for stays beginning December 1, 2022. This hotel is an adults-only, all-inclusive property that joins many Hyatt properties in Mexico. While not currently bookable using points, it could offer great value once that capability is added.
