One of the world’s most luxurious lifestyle brands is coming to Ibiza.
Lifestyle hospitality company, Ennismore, has announced it will be opening a Mondrian and a Hyde property on The White Isle ready for the summer season of 2023.
The news comes hot on the heels of the announcement that Mondrian will also be debuting in France in 2023.
Here’s what you can expect from Ibiza’s must-stay hotels of 2023.
Mondrian Ibiza
Set in the idyllic surrounds of Cala Llonga, overlooking the bay, the 154-room Mondrian Ibiza promises guests the ultimate luxury lifestyle hotel experience.
“The Mondrian Ibiza experience will match the unique energy and culture of the iconic island renowned for lively nightlife and idyllic beaches, while also introducing a new cultural and gastronomic destination for the discerning global traveler and locals alike,” said Chadi Farhat, chief brand operating officer for Mondrian at Ennismore.
Given the seasonality of the island, the hotel will be open to guests from June through mid-October when its 2 ocean-view pools will be the perfect place to cool off in the Balearic heat.
Dining options will include the Japanese restaurant NIKO, where guests will sample the finest premium sushi while taking in views over the bay.
For coffee, cocktails, and comfort food, Australian-style Sun & Moon will be open all day, while The Perq will swap out its direct trade coffee and smoothies served during the day for local beer and natural wine by night.
Hyde Ibiza
The larger 401-room Hyde Ibiza will be located alongside its Mondrian sibling.
With its large public open spaces, the vibe of Hyde Ibiza will be more suited to guests hoping for the quintessential lively Ibiza experience, also on a seasonal basis.
“With its roots in the LA club scene of the 2000s, Hyde is all about the freedom and personal discovery that comes with great music, time with friends, and connecting with something bigger, making it a natural fit for Ibiza,” said Phil Zrihen, Hyde brand COO and brand COO and head of Americas at Ennismore.
When guests aren’t getting the party started at a day club cabana, hanging out at the chiringuito-style beach club, or enjoying a secret DJ set of a gig at the hotel’s exclusive speakeasy, they’ll be able to refuel and recharge at no less than 5 food and beverage outlets.
Hot Tip: Ennismore is an exclusive global lifestyle brand whose hotels offer something a little different from the rest. Here are some of our favorites. You’ll get 10x points per $1 spent on stays at Mondrian hotels when using your Chase Sapphire Reserve® through the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal.
Final Thoughts
If luxury lifestyle hotels are your thing and you’re planning a trip to Ibiza next summer, you should consider the Mondrian and Hyde for your stay. The hardest decision you’ll have to make is which one to choose!
