Update:The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Right now, there are 2 IHG Credit Cards with new, elevated welcome bonus offers through which you can earn significant rewards after completing modest spending requirements.

The IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card and IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card are both great options for travelers looking to earn rewards that can be redeemed at IHG’s hotel brands. What’s more, neither card comes with a high annual fee.

However, these new offers expire on September 4, 2024, so be sure to apply before the deadline.

Here’s what you need to know about the cards and the new offers.

Elevated Welcome Bonus Offers for 2 IHG Cards

Here are the updated bonuses for each card:

  • IHG Premier card: Earn 5 Free Nights after you spend $4,000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening. Each free night is valued up to 60,000 points, which is the equivalent of earning 300,000 points.
  • IHG Traveler card: Earn 100,000 Bonus Points after you spend $2,000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening. We value this bonus at $500.

If you choose the IHG Premier card, it would be advantageous to save those free nights for upscale hotels, especially as this card gives you automatic Platinum Elite Status.

Final Thoughts

These offers are outstanding — the rewards available are significant compared to the amount of spend required to earn them.

This is an offer worth jumping on if you’re under Chase’s 5/24 rule — and if you do, remember to do so before these offers expire on September 4!
