Just a few days ago, on March 28, 2023, Keystone, Colorado, became the state’s newest town after a vote to incorporate.

Keystone has made a name for itself over the years thanks to the amazing skiing and snowboarding that can be found in the area, and now the new town is poised to get to the next level with the opening of a brand-new luxury property, Kindred Resort.

Furthermore, Kindred will be made up of a few components, including a hotel and 2 residential towers. The hotel portion will offer 107 rooms managed by Vail Resorts‘ RockResorts collection. The residential part will offer 95 ownership condos ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.

Residents and hotel guests will have access to amenities and services that put it on par with some of the premier ski destinations in the country, like Aspen, Colorado, and Deer Valley, Utah.

According to Kindred Resort, these amenities include a private signature ski club with ski valet service, a full-service spa, an outdoor pool and hot tubs, a Kids Club, multiple restaurants, a new home for Keystone’s Ski and Ride School, and meeting and event space with spectacular mountain views.

Kindred boasts that it will have perhaps the most ideal location of any ski resort in the country, as it’s just “50 steps” from the River Run Gondola.
