Marriott has introduced its high-end Luxury Collection brand to Germany with a new hotel situated in the heart of Munich’s historical Stachus Square.

Koenigshof, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Munich boasts 106 guest rooms and suites. The hotel’s style exudes a sense of modern luxury, with its sophisticated blend of stunning interiors and carefully selected artworks from local Bavarian artists.

The hotel features a Latin American restaurant led by the esteemed Peruvian chef Michael Cánepa. Guests can also enjoy a spa, a pool, a fitness center, 2 lounges, and the city’s largest Presidential Suite, complete with a private sauna and a pool that offers breathtaking views of Munich.

In announcing the first Luxury Collection hotel in Germany, Marriott called the new opening a “significant milestone” for the brand.

“The opening of Koenigshof, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Munich signifies a significant milestone for the brand as it will be The Luxury Collection’s foray into Germany – a vibrant and enticing destination for luxury travel,” said Philipp Weghmann, Vice President and Global Brand Leader of The Luxury Collection. “This property marks a fitting entrance, embodying the tapestry of the country’s cosmopolitan culture.”

Award nights for stays in September 2024 start at around 71,000 Marriott Bonvoy points for a standard king room, with cash rates hovering around $600 per night.
