The Lufthansa Group of airlines, including Austrian, Lufthansa, and SWISS, are offering $75 off of flights to Europe in celebration of World Aviation Day. The discount is valid on a wide variety of flights, so it should be pretty easy to take advantage of.

Aviation Day Discount Terms and Conditions

While each airline has a separate code to redeem for the discount, the terms and conditions remain generically the same across the 3 carriers:

• The promotion is valid until 11:59 p.m. EST on August 22, 2022, so you only have a few days to book.
• You can fly between October 17, 2022, and December 14, 2022.
• You must depart the U.S., and you can fly anywhere in Europe. In addition, you must depart from a U.S. “Gateway” city, which means a city that has an originating flight for Austrian, Lufthansa, or SWISS. For example, Tulsa, Oklahoma, requires you to fly from there to another city to catch your onward flight on either of the 3 carriers, so this city would not be valid as a departure point. Chicago, would, however, since either of the 3 airlines fly there.
• You can only redeem the promotion code on the individual airline websites.
• Unfortunately, the promotion is not valid for child tickets.
• You can only use 1 promotion code per person, so if you’re traveling with multiple people, you’ll need to book them on separate tickets.
• When you book on the carrier’s website, you must select a flight that is operated by either Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, or United. Because there is a joint venture between these airlines, it doesn’t matter which one you select.
• Technically the promotion is until supplies last, so there is a chance any of the carriers could pull the promotion before August 22. If you’re interested in going to Europe, you’ll want to book sooner rather than later.
