Marriott Bonvoy has brought back a promotion that allows travelers to fast-track to elite status and earn more Marriott Bonvoy points. This is turning into an annual offer from the hotel giant.

There’s a ton of news to cover, so let’s dig right in!

Earn up to 77k Marriott Bonvoy Points and Elite Nights

Between February 11 and April 28, 2025, you can earn 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points and 1 bonus Elite Night Credit for each paid night you stay at an eligible Marriott property. To be eligible, you must register by April 14, 2025.

Assuming you take advantage of the entire promotion, you can earn 77 elite nights plus 77,000 Marriott Bonvoy points during those dates.

Like many Marriott Bonvoy promotions, this one comes with several terms and conditions to be mindful of:

  • Only paid stays qualify, not reservations using points or free night awards.
  • You must be a member of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.
  • The hotel must be a participating Marriott Bonvoy property at the time of your stay.
  • You must book directly at Marriott.com, using the Marriott Bonvoy Mobile app, or through a reservation center.
  • Only stays completed after registration are eligible.

Additionally, the following brands are excluded from the promotion: BVLGARI, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Marriott Executive Apartments, and owner-occupied weeks at Marriott Vacation Club, Grand Residences by Marriott, Marriott Grand Residence Club, Sheraton Vacation Club, Westin Vacation Club, The Ritz-Carlton Club, The St. Regis Residence Club, and The Luxury Collection Residence Club.

Is it Worth It?

Interestingly, you don’t need to have elite status with Marriott already to register for the program, unlike some promotions that require you to be an elite member.

This promo could be worth it if you’re a lower-level Marriott Bonvoy member trying to get status quickly. For instance, if you were a base member without elite status, you could earn Marriott Silver Elite status in just 5 nights. Generally, this status requires spending 10 nights in a calendar year or holding certain Marriott Bonvoy co-branded credit cards.

You’ll earn double nights and bonus points if you stay at least 1 night at an eligible property during the travel period. Those bonus points can also be handy, as we value Marriott Bonvoy points at 0.7 each. If you stayed 20 nights during the promotion, you’d earn 20,000 points (worth $140). While that may not seem like much, some cheaper hotels can cost less than 10,000 points per night.

Final Thoughts

This promotion is a no-brainer. You can earn 1 elite night credit and 1,000 bonus points each night you stay at an eligible Marriott property. There aren’t many limitations, and you can take advantage of the promotion worldwide. Just make sure to register by April 14!
