Hilton is running a sweet sale where you can get up to 100% bonus when you buy points — but you only have a few more weeks to take advantage.

Hilton offers some of the most luxurious hotels in the world, and if you max out the sale, there are countless ways to redeem your Hilton Honors points for the best value.

With the sale in its final weeks, here’s how I would maximize the Hilton Honors points sale.

Hilton Honors Points Sale: Details

Hilton Honors is offering a targeted bonus of up to 100% when you purchase points through March 14, 2026. This can drop the per-point cost to just 0.5 cents. You must buy at least 5,000 points to get a bonus, and you may be targeted with a different offer — or no offer at all.

Per our valuations, Hilton Honors points are worth 0.5 cents each. Normally, you can purchase up to 80,000 points per year; however, the maximum for this promotion has been raised to 240,000. With the bonus, you can receive up to 480,000 points with this promotion.

Here’s more information you should know about the promo before pulling out your credit card:

  • You must purchase 5,000 or more points to be eligible for the bonus.
  • Purchases of 1,000 to 4,000 points are priced at 1 cent per point.
  • Purchases are nonrefundable, and points do not count toward Hilton elite status.
  • This offer ends on March 14, 2026.
  • Direct link to buy Hilton points
Hot Tip:

Your purchase of Hilton Honors points will be processed by points.com, so it’s best to use a card that rewards everyday purchases, since it won’t code as a Hilton purchase.

Best Ways To Maximize the Hilton Points Sale

In terms of hotel stays, I operate at 2 extremes: ultraluxury, high-value stays and low-cost, long-term stays. With the Hilton Honors points sale, I can book a combination of both.

To maximize the sale, I purchased the maximum 240,000 points, netting a whopping 480,000 points. My all-in cost came to $2,400; just 0.5 cents per point. Here is how I’m thinking about maximizing the Hilton points sale, from luxury hotel stays to simple rooms in my hometown.

1. New York City Staycation

My birthday is on the horizon, and instead of jetting across the globe, I’ve been debating a quiet staycation in New York City, where I live. Luckily, there are a ton of options for a 1- or 2-night stay, which I’m considering. My only requirements: pet-friendly rooms, a spa, and a cocktail bar.

For an ultraluxury redemption, I could book a stay at the newly renovated Waldorf Astoria New York, which would cover all 3 bases. The 375-room hotel is one of the most luxurious in the Big Apple, thanks to amenities like the 30,000-square-foot spa and fitness center and historic Peacock Alley bar.

It is also one of Hilton’s priciest in New York, coming in at a whopping 150,000 points per night. While a night or 2 here would eat into my balance considerably, it may be worth it to stay at one of the best hotels in the world.

2. Dream Eurosummer Trip

One of the easiest ways to maximize the Hilton Honors points sale is on a sun-soaked vacation in Europe.

Whenever I travel to Europe, I tend to hop around instead of staying in 1 city or country. If I had to plan my dream Eurosummer trip with Hilton Honors points, here’s where I’d go:

All told, this bonus could completely cover my Eurosummer plans, with leftover points to spare. Whether you want to stay put in a single destination or jump around as I like to do, you have hundreds of ways to redeem Hilton points in Europe.

3. Cheap Stay in Tulum

Remember what I said about extremes? Well, sometimes affordability and luxury do intersect, especially on award stays. One of the most affordable high-end hotels in Mexico is the Motto by Hilton Tulum, priced at just 27,000 points per night

At that price, I could stay for a week or even more and still have a ton of points left over. The hotel is a short distance from Tulum’s main shopping and dining district, but it’s removed enough to feel like a true luxe stay. For a Motto brand, it offers a solid range of amenities, including 2 rooftop pools with jungle views, a fitness center, and a spa.

4. Ultraluxury Seychelles Vacation

Should I want to wipe my Hilton Honors balance completely, I could book a 4-night stay at the Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels & Resorts. Seychelles and the resort have been on my travel bucket list for years, and this would be an excellent opportunity to check both off the list.

With just 41 rooms, some with oceanfront views, the resort offers authentic Creole dining, direct beach access, and more. It’s one of the most exclusive resorts in the Hilton Honors portfolio, and with rooms starting at 120,000 per night, this is perhaps the best way to maximize the sale.

5. Holidays at Home With the Family

Holidays are big in my family, and Easter is perhaps the biggest of them all. While not fancy, one of my favorite ways to use Hilton Honors points is on stays in southern Virginia, where I was raised.

While it may make sense to save the money or points and stay at home, I travel with my dog, so I tend to book a hotel because some family members are allergic. I usually stay for a week or more, so this bonus would be helpful. The hotels in my hometown offer just what I’m looking for: affordable pricing, breakfast, parking, and easy access to attractions.

For instance, one of my go-tos when I visit home is The Landing at Hampton Marina, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, which typically costs 35,000 points per night. It’s a boutique hotel with spacious rooms, a restaurant and bar, and a rooftop that doubles as a club in the summer.

If you’re planning holiday travel, this sale is a great way to boost your balance, no matter what time of the year you plan to travel.

Other Ways To Earn Hilton Points

Generally, we don’t recommend buying points unless there’s a sale or if you need to top off your balance. If you miss this sale or are looking for other ways to boost your balance, here are a few other ways to earn Hilton Honors points:

Final Thoughts

Hilton’s points sale is an excellent way for any traveler looking to boost their balance. As you see above, there are tons of ways to maximize this sale — we only scratched the surface. Whether you’re looking for an ultraluxury stay at a 5-star resort or an affordable room in a quiet town for work, this sale can help you get there.

If you’re thinking about jumping on this promotion, you only have until March 14, 2026, to do so!
