The summer travel season is here, and as vacationers searching for their dream trip can attest, prices are pretty high. Luckily, one budget hotel chain is offering a big discount on stays — and even more if you’re a rewards member.

Here’s what you need to know.

Budget chain Motel 6 is currently running a sale for the Fourth of July holiday and the summer travel season. Here’s the breakdown of the sale:

My6 members save 12% off new bookings made between July 1 and July 6, 2023, for all future stays.
All guests save at least 10% off new bookings made from July 1 through July 6, 2023, for any reservations taking place from July 2 through September 4, 2023 (though some restrictions may apply) that are booked at least 1 day in advance.

How To Book

You can book your stay by going to Motel 6’s website or by downloading the free “My6” app on iOS or Android to receive the 12% off discount. Additionally, My6 members receive 6% off their stay at Motel 6 and Studio 6 locations across the country year-round, a good incentive to join even if you don’t stay with the chain often.

It appears that most of the 1,400 Motel 6 properties in the U.S. and Canada are included in the sale, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding a hotel. Make sure you book between July 1 and July 6, 2023, to take advantage of the sale.

No matter which hotel you choose, you’ll want to make sure you book your stay with a credit card that rewards you for travel purchases. Here are some of our recommendations:
