Navy Federal Flagship Card Welcome Offer

The new Navy Federal Flagship card was announced last week, and it’s the issuer’s most premium travel card. It’s now available for new applicants with this welcome offer:

  • Earn 50,000 bonus points when you spend $4,000 in your first 90 days of opening. Offer valid for accounts applied for between 9/10/26 - 1/3/27.

Rewards points from NFCU can be redeemed for deposits into an eligible bank account, statement credits, gift cards, or travel bookings in the rewards portal. Points are typically worth 1 cent each, making 50,000 points worth $500.

That’s a 12.5% return on the $4,000 of spending required to earn this welcome bonus offer.

Who Qualifies for a Navy Federal Credit Card?

NFCU isn’t a public banking institution. To qualify for an account — credit card or otherwise — you need to be active duty, a veteran, or retired from any branch of the military, including National Guard and Reserves. Family members of these qualifying individuals can also open an account with NFCU, including parents, grandparents, spouses, siblings, children, grandchildren, and members of the household.

If you fit into any of those groups above, you can open a Navy Federal Credit Union membership with as little as $5 in a savings account. After that, you’re eligible to apply for the Navy Federal Flagship card and the rest of the credit union’s credit card lineup.

Hot Tip:

Final Thoughts

The new Navy Federal Flagship card is now available to applicants. It offers 4x on travel, 3x on dining, a statement credit for airline purchases each year, and a credit every 4 years to cover your application fee to Global Entry or TSA Pre✓®.

The card is also offering 50,000 bonus points to new applicants who open an account and meet the introductory spending requirement.

If you’ve been looking for a card with an annual fee under $100, bonus points on travel and dining, and easy-to-use rewards, adding the Navy Federal Flagship card to your wallet could be a smart move.
