Update: The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

If you’re not familiar with Nordic Choice Hotels, it’s an independent hotel brand that operates in Scandinavia. It’s a separate entity from the Choice Hotels you may already know from the U.S., but the two have an agreement that allows for Nordic Choice properties to be booked by Choice members.

Now, Nordic Choice is offering a promotion through which you can earn double Nordic Choice Club points on bookings at select hotels as long as you make your reservations stay between October 27, 2022, and November 23, 2022. Bookings must be made by October 26, 2012.

Let’s take a look at the details!

Offer Details

There are a few things you should be aware of before you make any reservations through this promotion:

  • The offer for double points is only valid for bookings made on October 25 or 26, 2022. You can complete your stays anytime between October 27 and November 23, 2022.
  • Bonus points are awarded after checkout.
  • If any adjustments are made to reservations after the booking period, you won’t be eligible to earn bonus points under this offer. You’ll want to be absolutely certain that what you’re booking is what you actually want.
  • You can earn the bonus points at any Comfort Hotel, Quality Hotel, Clarion Collection Hotel, Clarion Hotel, or Nordic Hotels and Resorts property. Yasuragi, Icehotel, Hotel Kämp, and St. George are not eligible for earning.
  • Reservations must be made through the Nordic Choice mobile app or on the Nordic Choice website. The offer is not valid for phone bookings. Obviously, you need to be logged in to your account to take advantage of the offer since you’re earning bonus points for your stay.

Normally, you’d earn 1 point for every 1kr (1 Swedish krona) you spend at the hotel, but with this offer, you’re earning 2 times that amount. If you spent 1,000kr (~$91) on a stay, you’d earn 2,000 bonus points. After earning 7,500 points, you’ll have enough for a free night at a Nordic Choice hotel.

Visit Nordic Choice’s website for more information about the offer.

Nordic Choice Hotels

Nordic Choice currently operates 221 hotels in the Baltics, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. You’ll find hotels in small towns and large cities alike, including major destinations including Bergen, Norway; Copenhagen, Denmark; Helsinki, Finland; Oslo, Norway; Stockholm, Sweden; and Vilnius, Lithuania.

Generally speaking, Nordic Choice hotels are mid-level properties, which means they’re not super luxurious, but they’re also not budget properties. You can expect a comfortable night’s rest at a reasonable price, though there certainly are a few high-end properties that are worth splurging for.

Hot Tip: Nordic Choice operates a completely separate loyalty program from the Choice Privileges program we have in the U.S. Under this promotion, you’re strictly earning Nordic Choice Club points.

Final Thoughts

Any offer to earn double points on hotel stays has the potential to be very valuable, though you only have a short while to take advantage of this offer. If you’re planning a trip to this part of the world, act quickly so you can book your stays and earn the bonus points!
