PointsYeah launched less than a year ago and has quickly become a favorite tool for point and miles enthusiasts thanks to its fast and easy-to-use flight search feature. Well, it just got better with the addition of a hotel search!

With a very comprehensive free version, travelers can easily search hotel programs and booking portals across multiple dates to find the best deal — whether that be with points or cash.

Let’s take a closer look.

PointsYeah Hotels

PointsYeah Hotels provides real-time searches for hotel availability across multiple sites using points or cash.

Currently, PointsYeah Hotels displays the following:

There are plenty of filters, including location, price, parking, pools, and more.

This search below for a 1-night stay in Orlando brought up over 250 options. The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, is showing a rate of 71,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night, which is not a bad deal. Underneath the cost in points, you’ll be able to see the programs that points can be transferred from.

However, PointsYeah also searched via AAdvantage Hotels and showed that you could earn 10,000 Loyalty Points if you paid cash instead.

While that may not make sense for everyone, it’s a great deal if you are chasing American Airlines status and a great option to have when booking hotels, as it may slip the mind of many travelers.

Bottom Line:

PointsYeah Hotels, a tool that searches hotel availability (with points or cash), was just introduced. It’s still in the Beta phase, so expect fixes, updates, and new additions to roll out over time.

Final Thoughts

The market for travel apps has been getting crowded lately (in a good way) with popular options like Point.me, MaxMyPoint, Roame.Travel, all offering free and paid options for travelers looking to maximize their points and miles balance.

PointsYeah always had the fastest option when searching for award flights, even in its free version. Now, with a hotel booking option, PointsYeah could become a 1-stop-shop for many, many travelers who want to compare cash and points prices.
