Qantas Frequent Flyer is giving members the chance to earn up to 50,000 bonus points — just for booking hotel stays or vacation packages through its Qantas Hotels and Holidays portal.

Even better, this offer isn’t limited to Australian residents, meaning travelers in the U.S. and beyond can take advantage of this offer, too.

Here’s what you need to know to earn bonus points from this limited-time deal.

Earn up to 50,000 Bonus Qantas Points When You Book by August 4

Qantas is offering a generous points promotion for travelers who book hotels or vacation packages through its website. Now through August 4, 2025, at 9:59 a.m. EDT, Qantas Frequent Flyer members can earn up to 50,000 bonus Qantas Points based on how much they spend.

Here’s a breakdown of the bonus point tiers after converting from Australian to U.S. dollars:

  • Spend $323–$645: Earn 2,000 bonus points
  • Spend $646–$1,290: Earn 5,000 bonus points
  • Spend $1,291–$1,936: Earn 15,000 bonus points
  • Spend $1,937–$3,228: Earn 25,000 bonus points
  • Spend $3,229 or more: Earn the full 50,000 bonus points

This promotion applies to bookings for stays or holiday packages made through Qantas Hotels and Holidays, which can be accessed directly at qantas.com.

Importantly, there is no language in the terms and conditions restricting the promotion to Australian residents. That means U.S.-based Qantas Frequent Flyer members can take advantage of this offer too.

Bonus points are awarded in addition to the regular Qantas Points typically earned on these bookings, giving you a chance to double up on rewards.

Hot Tip:

Qantas Points are more versatile than you might think — redeem them not only for Qantas flights but also for premium cabin awards on oneworld partners like Qatar Airways and Japan Airlines, or even non-oneworld partners like Emirates. Final Thoughts

With up to 50,000 bonus Qantas Points on the table, this promotion is one of the most lucrative we’ve seen recently for Qantas Frequent Flyer members.

Even if you don’t plan to spend enough to earn the full 50,000 bonus points, it’s still worth comparing prices on Qantas Hotels and Holidays with other travel sites. If the rates are similar, booking through Qantas could be an easy way to pick up some extra points — points that could later be used for valuable flight redemptions.
