Amtrak Celebrates Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary With New Deals

If you’re planning to visit Disneyland Resort this summer, there’s a fantastic deal you should know about.

You can save 20% on your Amtrak ticket to Anaheim, California, when you use the promo code V712. This deal is valid on Pacific Surfliner and associated thruways (except 7000-8999 series) and for travel to and from Anaheim only. Make sure to select an “Adult” fare.

Keep in mind that there are numerous blackout dates, which you can view here.

Once you’ve booked your Amtrak ticket, you can use your reservation number to receive limited-time savings on Disneyland Resort admission. You can access the Disneyland Resort online ticket store (where you’ll input your reservation number) at this link.

You can save 5% on Standard Theme Park tickets, which are valid for 1 to 5 days, and receive a discount on park admission. Admission is limited to 1 park per day. The Disneyland Anniversary Ticket offer works a little differently. You can visit for 4 days through August 14, 2025, for a total of $380, or for 3 days for a total of $342.

Tickets are valid through August 14, 2025.

Finally, you can receive a free bus connection to Disneyland Resort from Anaheim Station when you show your train ticket. This is a great deal, especially if you’re traveling with a group, as bus tickets to the resort normally cost $6.

How To Book

You’ll want to book directly with Amtrak to take advantage of the Pacific Surfliner and Disneyland deals.

Also, pay with a credit card that rewards you for train travel or general travel purchases. If you’re a frequent Amtrak rider, you can’t go wrong with having the Amtrak Guest Rewards® Preferred Mastercard® in your wallet. This card earns 3x points per $1 spent on Amtrak travel, including onboard purchases, and 2x points on dining and travel. It also offers perks such as a companion coupon on your card anniversary.

Hot Tip:

Currently, there’s a fantastic limited-time welcome bonus offer available on the card. You can earn 40,000 Amtrak Guest Rewards bonus points after making at least $2,000 in purchases within the first 3 billing cycles of your account opening. This welcome offer ends on July 30, 2025.
