Delta Air Lines has announced an exciting development for its Los Angeles (LAX) hub: A second Delta One Lounge will soon open at the airport.

The first Delta One Lounge at the airport opened in Terminal 3 in late 2024, and the second will open in Terminal 2. Let’s take a look at everything we know so far.

Second Delta One Lounge Coming to LAX

If you’re passing through Terminal 2 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) any time soon, keep an eye out for construction.

What you’re looking at is the future home of a brand-new Delta One Lounge. When it opens — the airline says it’s “coming soon” — it will be Delta’s second business-class-exclusive lounge at the airport. This will also make LAX the only hub to have more than 1 Delta One Lounge, at least for now.

The lounge will feature all of the signature elements that guests have come to expect from these spaces, including a full-service dining option, showers, and other elevated amenities. Terminal 2 will also offer a Delta One-exclusive check-in area with private security screening and transportation directly to the lounge.

The opening of a second Delta One Lounge is part of a larger investment the Atlanta-based carrier is making at the airport. With the city gearing up to host the Olympics in 2028, Delta is rushing to ensure its territory within the airport is ready to shine for the world.

To that end, the airline is renovating Terminal 2 with a new design and feel, adding a brand-new Sky Club, scheduled to open in 2027, and planning to renovate its existing Terminal 3 Delta One Lounge, scheduled for completion in 2028.

A Delta spokesperson said we can expect more details surrounding the brand-new Delta One Lounge, including renderings, as its opening draws nearer. We’ll be sure to update this story as soon as we receive any new information.

Soon, LAX will be the only Delta hub to have 2 Delta One Lounges. The airline is investing heavily in making its hub in the nation’s second-largest city world-class ahead of the Olympics, and this is just one of many projects underway at the airport in order to achieve that goal.
