Hilton is opening its first Curio Collection hotel in one of the most popular cities to visit in the South: Savannah, Georgia.

The Drayton Hotel Opens in Historic Savannah Building

The Drayton Hotel Savannah, Curio Collection by Hilton has just 50 rooms and suites and features 3 dining options. While the hotel has a rooftop bar, it appears Hilton is keeping this hotel in line with other boutique properties, as it doesn’t appear to have a fitness center.

Hilton said The Drayton was “hand-picked” by the hotel chain for its “individual character and personality,” a nod to its origins dating back to the 1890s.

“With its distinguished design that embraces the building’s historic identity to unique, elevated dining experiences inspired by the rich culinary heritage of the destination, The Drayton Hotel is an incredible property to join the Curio Collection,” said Jenna Hackett, Curio Collection by Hilton Brand Leader.

This marks the debut of the Curio brand in Savannah, which has experienced a surge in tourism demand in recent years. If you aren’t familiar, Curio is one of Hilton’s higher-end brands and emphasizes distinct experiences through local offerings, elevated food and beverage options, and amenities.

Booking The Drayton Hotel With Hilton Honors Points

The Drayton Hotel Savannah officially opens for visitors on August 1, 2023. The hotel is participating in the Hilton Honors program, which means you’ll be able to earn and redeem Hilton Honors points at the hotel.

Like other major hotel chains, the Hilton Honors program no longer uses an award chart. Instead, it has adopted variable award pricing. That means the price you pay on award nights can be cheaper or more expensive rates depending on when you travel.

The cheapest rates start at 52,000 Hilton Honors points per night for dates this summer and creep up to 80,000 points per night this fall and winter.
