Choice Hotels is expanding its presence in the upscale segment with the opening of The Quincy, Ascend Hotel Collection in Washington, D.C. This marks the inaugural Ascend Hotel Collection property in the nation’s capital.

Let’s get into the details of this exciting new hotel opening!

The Quincy, Ascend Hotel Collection Is Now Open

The Ascend Hotel Collection is a stylish brand of boutique hotels offering unique, local experiences and is part of Choice Hotels’ extensive portfolio.

Making its grand entrance in Washington, D.C., The Quincy, Ascend Hotel Collection is nestled right in the bustling heart of D.C.’s business district. The hotel shines with its fantastic location, just a hop away from popular spots like George Washington University, Dupont Circle, and the White House, and only 2 blocks from the Farragut North metro station on the red line.

The boutique property boasts 99 spacious guest rooms, each with a full kitchen, allowing visitors to whip up their own meals. Additionally, the grab-and-go station in the lobby is ideal for individuals visiting D.C. for business or in a hurry and need to be on the move.

The hotel has partnered with Pisco y Nazca, a neighboring Peruvian restaurant and bar, and Recessions to provide delightful dining experiences highlighting local and international flavors for its guests.

“We are thrilled to open the doors of The Quincy and invite guests to experience the bespoke service that Ascend Hotel Collection is celebrated for,” said Owner, Steve Schwat. “Our prime location, spacious accommodations, and modern amenities make The Quincy a standout choice for anyone visiting Washington, D.C., whether they are here to explore the city’s historic landmarks or conduct business.”

How To Book Ascend Collection Hotels With Points

The Ascend Hotel Collection is part of the Choice Hotels family of brands. Therefore, guests can earn and redeem Choice Privileges points at these properties. Although Choice Privileges may not steal the spotlight like some bigger programs, they offer great value, particularly for those traveling on a budget.

For example, in an expensive city like Washington, D.C., nightly rates at The Quincy Ascend Hotel Collection begin at $144 or 20,000 Choice Privileges points.

Bottom Line:

The Ascend Hotel Collection, a stylish assortment of boutique hotels, is on a roll with its latest opening in the nation’s capital with The Quincy, Ascend Hotel Collection. These hotels can be booked using Choice points in the Choice Privileges program.
