There’s a new, limited-time U.S. Bank offer that gives you up to 10% cash-back on your Southwest Airlines purchase, with a chance to save up to $40 when you fly with Southwest in March.

There are often a few versions of this targeted offer available, like 5% back on Southwest purchases for dates beyond March. That means you should check your U.S. Bank offer to see if you’ve been targeted and which version you received.

Here are all of the details on this new U.S. Bank offer for Southwest Airlines purchases.

U.S. Bank Cardholders Save up to 10% on Southwest Airlines Purchase

Through March 1, 2025, eligible U.S. Bank cardholders can earn up to 10% cash-back on Southwest Airlines purchases of $50 or more, with a maximum savings of $40.

This deal is valid for one-time use on purchases of $50 or more made directly with Southwest Airlines, and you must fly in March to receive the 10% cash-back. You can still save 5% on your Southwest purchase if you travel outside of March, but flights purchased in March will receive the full 10% cash-back offer.

The discount does not apply to Southwest Vacations purchases, Southwest point purchases, in-flight purchases, or surcharges. As a result, this deal will be especially handy when purchasing flights for your next vacation.

This offer is targeted and may vary, so double-check your offer’s exact terms. Before making your purchase, make sure you’ve added the offer to your card. If you do this, you will receive a statement credit for up to $40 in cash-back after redeeming the offer.

Is This a Good Deal?

If you have a Southwest purchase on the horizon and are targeted for this U.S. Bank offer on one of your cards, it’s definitely worth saving up to 10% on your next Southwest flight.

For instance, if you hold the U.S. Bank Altitude® Connect Visa Signature® Card, you can earn 4x points on travel, which includes airfare purchases with Southwest Airlines, plus get up to 10% cash-back on your purchase with this offer.

Final Thoughts

This new U.S. Bank deal allows cardholders to receive up to 10% cash-back on Southwest Airlines purchases of $50 or more, with a maximum savings of $40 when flying in March.

Because these offers are targeted, the specifics of your offer may differ. Check all of your U.S. Bank credit cards to discover which version of the offer you received, if any. Remember to add the offer to your card first and pay with the same card; otherwise, you won’t receive the statement credit.
