TAP Air Portugal has done us all a favor and dumped several dates of business class award seats on nonstop flights to Lisbon (LIS) through June 2025.

We’re seeing as many as 9 business class seats per flight. Therefore, if you’re trying to get to Europe, especially early next year, take a look and see if there are dates that work for you.

Portugal Business Class Award Deal — Details

TAP Air Portugal is a member of the Star Alliance, which means you’ll be able to redeem your points from airlines such as United, Air Canada, Avianca, and ANA. While TAP’s cabins all offer lie-flat seats and good food, know they’re not the most premium product in the sky.

Best Ways To Book

You can book a one-way business class ticket through Air Canada Aeroplan for the cheapest 60,000-point rate from East Coast cities. Fortunately, it’s easy to Aeroplan points thanks to their partnerships with American Express Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, Capital One Miles, which transfer over at a 1:1 ratio.

However, the cheapest way to book these flights is through ANA, charging 100,000 miles round-trip for your flight and just $62 in taxes and fees. You can earn ANA miles by transferring over your Amex points to ANA at a 1:1 ratio.

However, just know that Amex Membership Rewards points transfers to ANA can take up to 3 days. But with the amount of availability we’re seeing, you should still be able to book these flights by the time your points transfer, especially if you’re flexible on dates.
