Canada’s rapidly expanding Porter Airlines is running a promotion that offers a 25% savings on award tickets booked with VIPorter points, inclusive of itineraries with flights on partners Air Transat and Alaska Airlines.

However, you have to book fairly quickly, as the promotion ends in early November. Here’s what you need to know.

Score Discounted Award Tickets With VIPorter Points

You can save 25% on the cost of award tickets booked with VIPorter points by November 6, 2025, for travel through April 26, 2026. The promotion is valid for flights operated by Porter Airlines, Air Transat, and a combination of Porter and Alaska Airlines.

No promo code is needed to take advantage of this promotion, and discounted tickets will be demarcated with a “sale” icon.

Here are some more terms you should be aware of:

Tickets must be booked by 11:59 p.m. ET on November 6, 2025.
The discount applies only to the points portion of the award ticket, not additional taxes and fees.
Certain destinations may be excluded from the sale.
Tickets may require advance purchase of up to 14 days.
Redemptions with Alaska Airlines must also include a segment on Porter Airlines.
The following blackout dates apply: December 19-22; December 26-30, 2025; January 2-4; February 12, 13, and 16; March 13-15, 2026; March 20-22; and April 2-6, 2026.
This discount cannot be combined with any other offers.

How To Earn VIPorter Points

Unfortunately, the VIPorter program doesn’t have major transfer partners, limiting the ways you can earn points quickly. Of course, you’ll earn points for every qualifying dollar spent on Porter flights. Additionally, the airline’s partnership with Alaska Airlines enables reciprocal point earning, allowing you to earn VIPorter points on Alaska Airlines flights and vice versa.

However, the easiest way to earn VIPorter points is to sign up for a Porter Airlines co-branded credit card. There are 2 versions available, both of which offer respectable welcome bonuses in exchange for meeting the minimum spending threshold.
