It’s not every day that we see an affordable, upscale hotel open in New York City — and it’s even more rare to see one in the heart of Times Square.

Here’s what you need to know about the new voco Times Square — Broadway.

New IHG Hotel Opens Near Broadway

voco Times Square – Broadway — the brand’s largest hotel in the Americas — has opened with 419 guest rooms, suites, and bunk bed rooms, a feature we’ve seen quite often recently at new hotels.

The hotel draws inspiration from the Big Apple’s Prohibition-era speakeasies and features amenities such as a rooftop bar, a restaurant, a fitness center, and pet-friendly rooms.

The hotel is located in the heart of Times Square, near virtually every attraction in the neighborhood, including FAO Schwarz, Radio City Music Hall, Ellen’s Stardust Diner, the Times Square Plaza, and more.

Getting around should be pretty easy, even if you aren’t familiar with public transit. You’re just a few minutes from the 49th Street station, which serves the N/R/W lines, and the 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Center station, serving the B/D/F/M lines.

Booking Voco Times Square – Broadway

The new voco Times Square – Broadway is now open for guests, which is great news for travelers looking to visit New York City this spring or anyone who wants to be close to Broadway.

For a hotel so close to all of Manhattan’s most popular attractions, it is incredibly affordable. We’re seeing rates as low as $106 per night, or 23,000 IHG One Rewards points per night, so you can’t go wrong booking with either option. It’s easy to earn points through staying at IHG properties or transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards points at a 1:1 ratio.

You can also earn points by applying for one of IHG’s credit cards — and right now, 2 IHG cards have fantastic limited-time offers.

The IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card, which has a $99 annual fee, offers a whopping 175,000 points after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months.

If you’re looking for a $0-annual-fee option, the IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card features an elevated welcome offer of up to 120,000 points, which is broken down into 2 separate offers.

You can earn 90,000 bonus points after spending $2,000 on purchases in the first 3 months, and earn up to 30,000 additional points by earning an additional 3x points on purchases in the first 6 months of account opening on up to $10,000 spent (except at IHG Hotels & Resorts).

Hot Tip:

If you are traveling before March 31, you can earn unlimited double points on stays at voco Times Square – Broadway (or other IHG hotels) between January 1 and March 31, 2026, thanks to a new promotion. As IHG members usually earn 10 points per $1 spent, you’ll earn a whopping 20x points if you register for this promotion.

Final Thoughts

New York isn’t synonymous with affordability. That’s why the opening of the new voco Times Square – Broadway is very exciting. Not only is it located in one of Manhattan’s hottest neighborhoods — near attractions, transit, and shopping — but it’s also a great deal with cash or IHG points.
