Wyndham Rewards has a new partnership with Singapore Airlines’ KrisFlyer program. Members can now choose to earn Singapore Airlines miles rather than Wyndham points on their hotel stays. In addition, Wyndham members can now convert their hotel points into airline miles.

New partnerships are always exciting, but let’s take a closer look to see if you should transfer Wyndham points to KrisFlyer or choose to earn miles on your upcoming Wyndham hotel stays.

Wyndham Rewards Partners With Singapore KrisFlyer

Wyndham Rewards and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer are giants in the world of loyalty programs, and they announced a new partnership on September 10, 2025.

Under this new partnership, Wyndham members have 2 new benefits they can take advantage of:

  • Convert 6,000 Wyndham points to 1,200 KrisFlyer miles.
  • Choose to earn KrisFlyer miles on hotel stays, rather than Wyndham Rewards points.

Using these benefits doesn’t require booking your stays in a special portal, using a promo code, or forgoing your elite status benefits with Wyndham if you have them.

Is It Worth It?

Based on our monthly valuations, Wyndham Rewards points are worth 0.9 cents each, and KrisFlyer miles are worth 1.35 cents each.

Using that math, you can turn $54 worth of hotel points into $16.20 worth of airline miles — a losing proposition.

When it comes to hotel stays, Wyndham members earn 10 points per $1 spent (before any elite bonuses are added on) — with a minimum of 1,000 points on their stay. If you choose to earn KrisFlyer miles instead, you would still earn a minimum of 1,000 miles, but you’ll earn just 1 mile per $1 spent.

The “1,000 minimum” element provides a higher value with KrisFlyer miles than Wyndham Rewards points, but the earnings per $1 spent pale by comparison. You’ll get 9 cents worth of Wyndham points or 1.35 cents worth of airline miles. If you’ll earn more than the minimum, chances are you’ll want to stick with earning Wyndham points.

Bottom Line:

While the partnership is interesting, it only makes sense if you have no use for Wyndham Rewards points and prefer to earn airline miles instead — even if it comes at a less rewarding rate.

Final Thoughts

As of September 10, 2025, Wyndham Rewards members can turn their hotel points into Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles or earn those miles on upcoming stays in place of hotel points. While the headline sounds exciting, the math tells a different story. Most travelers will get more value from keeping their earnings within the Wyndham Rewards system.
