Wyndham Rewards has announced the launch of Wyndham Travel Packages, a new platform that allows program members to book hotels, flights, car rentals, and more in a single place.

Here’s a look at everything you need to know.

Wyndham Travel Packages

Wyndham Travel Packages is now live. It allows Wyndham Rewards members to bundle different elements of a trip together and save money on the total cost.

“With Wyndham Travel Packages, we’re bringing together trusted brands from across the industry and giving members a seamless way to book virtually every aspect of their next getaway – all with the benefits of Wyndham Rewards, the #1 hotel rewards program,” said Michael Shiwdin, senior vice president of guest engagement, loyalty & strategic partnerships at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

In addition to being able to book the requisite pieces of a trip in 1 place, Wyndham Rewards members can earn handsomely when they utilize Wyndham Travel Packages to book a trip. Here’s how the earnings break down according to each trip element:

  • Hotels: Earn 10 Wyndham Rewards points per dollar spent on hotel bookings. Stays at WaterWalk Extended Stay by Wyndham hotels earn 5 points per dollar spent, and stays at Echo Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham hotels do not earn points.
  • Activities: Earn 10 points per dollar spent on a range of tours and activities booked through the portal, including walking tours, skydiving, event tickets, and more.
  • Airfare: Earn 1 point per dollar spent on airline tickets, excluding taxes, fees, and incidentals. Members can “double-dip” here, as the platform allows airline miles to be earned on top of the Wyndham Rewards points earned from the booking.
  • Car Rentals: Earn 1 point per dollar spent on car rentals booked with Avis or Budget. Taxes, fees, and incidentals are excluded from points accrual.
  • Airport Transfers: Earn 1 point per dollar spent on airport transfers booked with services like Talixo and Sixt Ride.

In addition to earning points according to the structure above, Wyndham Rewards members can receive up to a 10% discount on travel bundles when booking through the Wyndham Travel Packages platform. Members can also redeem Wyndham Rewards points for the hotel portion of their package, which contributes even more savings.

Note that, currently, canceling or changing a given package must happen within 24 hours of booking. Wyndham Travel Packages says that in 2025, more flexibility will be added regarding cancellations and changes.

Double Points Promo

To celebrate the launch of Wyndham Travel Packages, members can earn double points on all bookings made by December 31, 2024, with travel valid through December 31, 2025.

Final Thoughts

Wyndham is the latest brand to join the all-in-one travel booking platform. While it’s still new, and more functionality needs to be added (especially regarding changes and cancellations), it should be a great tool for Wyndham Rewards members who want to earn more points on all individual pieces of a given trip — and save money in the process.
