The first thing to note: if you are shopping from the U.S., on the landing page, you may need to select USA as your location (if it is not automatically selected for you) at the bottom of the homepage. This will allow you to view retailers that are more readily available to U.S. customers.

Once your language has been selected, click Login.

To receive Avios for your shopping purchases, you must log in to the British Avios eStore. Otherwise, no bonus will be awarded.

If you are already a British Airways Executive Club member, you do not need to create any separate login information — you simply use the account you already have. If you are not an existing British Airways Executive Club member, you will need to create an account. It’s a quick form and free to sign up.

If you want to shop with a specific retailer and receive your bonus Avios, click the red Shop Now button that will direct you through to the retailer’s site. Then, simply complete your purchase through the site. British Airways automatically tracks your purchase through cookies, so be sure they are enabled on your browser.

Any Avios collected through your purchases will be added to your account within 35 days.

If you purchase your items without going through the eStore, there is no way to retroactively apply your bonus Avios.

Special Shopping Offers

Occasionally, it’s possible to earn even more bonus Avios by way of special shopping offers. Generally, these offers will involve a retailer issuing an increased number of Avios per dollar. These special offers tend to run for a limited time only, with the deadline listed when you click the retailer.

For example, at the time of writing, Macy’s was highlighting a special offer to earn 2 Avios per $1 (rather than their normal offer of 1 Avios per $1).

Example Retailers

You may have noticed a few of the participating retailers in the photos above.

  • Hugo Boss: 7 Avios per $1
  • Jimmy Choo: 5 Avios per $1

Collected AVIOS points for many years and used estore frequently however now transferred to British Airways and just made my first purchase with BA ESTORE and unable to find a record of my purchase can you explain where they are located on the site. Cheers.

    • Hi Maureen, in order to find the record of your purchase you will have to log into your BA executive club account.

From the landing page, you can click the drop-down “Manage My Account” on the left-hand side. From there, chose “My Statement”.

Your Avios should show “Pending” in your account within 5 working days. BA will validate your purchase with the retailer within 40 days. When approved, the account will be updated to reflect the status. All “Approved” Avios should be posted to your Executive Club account within 48 hours.

      Hope this helps! 🙂

  2. I have been shopping through airline portals for several years but this summer I shopped through BA’s for the first time. I shopped at 3 different stores and have yet to receive a single point. First some didn’t even show as pending after 5 days, so I sent receipts. Then they all showed as pending. 40 days came and went. Nothing showed as approved. I contacted them through email and now the one I listed first shows as approved but not the other two. 48 hours have passed, points still not in my account. I have only had this much trouble getting my points one other time from all the programs I shop through. I don’t know if it is worth so much time monitoring it, contacting them, etc, to get the points. Through other airlines I usually get the points within 5-10 days, with no hassle, even on large purchases.

  3. I have been using this for a few years and have just received a new payment card through the post. However, I cannot seem to find out how to register this new card. Is this no longer required since these new changes to the Executive Club eStore? I cannot find anything mentioned on this on their website – and cannot seem to contact them about it. Thank you for any help.

    • Hi Aaron, there is no need to register any credit card in order to use the British Airways Avios eStore. This is simply a platform you sign into with your BA Executive Club account number and then click through to the desired online retailer where you will make your purchase with any credit card you desire.

BA tracks these purchases in regards to your action of clicking through the e-store paired with your Executive Club number, not the credit card that was used.

Is it possible you’re referring to a different platform you previously used? Whenever you’re dealing with questions related to a specific card, we always suggest calling the phone number listed on the back of the card to speak with the customer service representative available via the card issuer as that will be the most precise information available.

  4. Apple are offering 6 Avios/£ at present. They are also offering 6 months interest free on Apple Watch purchases. If I purchase using the interest free offer does this affect avios I’ll receive?

    • Catherine Luther April 26, 2019

      Hi Thurleigh,

There doesn’t seem to be any information on the Avios e-store website regarding financing and Avios points; however, as you would be entering into a financial contract with them I would imagine the offer would stand for the full duration. You would best to give them a call to verify if the offer is a dealbreaker for your purchase. You can find contact details for Avios here.

  5. The website doesn’t let me log in. It says the page has other stopped working or moved!

    • Hi Luisa – we’re getting the same message on our end… we’ll try to look into it and see what we come up with but not seeing any news on the closure yet so we’re just as stumped as you!

  6. Hi Erin,

I had several cards registered under my estore reward account, however, by deleting cards accidentally, I am no longer able to add cards back on the account. Can you please kindly advise?

    Many thanks

    • Hi Mel,

We are not British Airways, so we cannot vouch for their information systems. Please call them or send an email to them asking them for advice. Thanks.

  7. Hi

I’ve used the BA eShopping portal a number of times now and yes I earn avios points BUT the number of points never seems to match the amount paid (excluding delivery) or the points per £1 spent multiplier. Just wondered why?

    • Hi Paul,

That seems unusual. Have you tried contacting British Airways customer service directly about this?

      • Thanks. Realised the amount is based on the purchase amount less taxes, but have queried why the offer points per £1 were wrong.

  8. Do I still collect Avios if I get redirected to the shop’s app (for instance food delivery apps, Net-A-Porter app, John Lewis App, etc) and make purchases in the app?

    • Hi Mipa,

As long as you began the search in the British Airways eStore then yes you should still receive points for purchases.

      Thanks for reading!

  9. Nahed Squires June 25, 2020

Hi. This is my first time trying to shop online through the BA eStore and I keep running into issues because I am in Canada. Is it possible to use the eStore from Canada? If so, I would pick USA to get started but when I get on a store’s website and they happen to have a canadian equivalent, do I stay on the US website or switch to the canadian one?

    • Hi Nahed,

I do not believe that they offer a Canadian version of the British Airways eStore, so I recommend you just use the US version if it will allow you.

  10. Are we able to collect points shopping via the BA eStore when using an AMEX?

I make most of my purchases online, and do click through the BA eStore more often than not, but my most recent purchases made using my AMEX Gold card aren’t showing on the account. Namely a big purchase with Apple. Paid directly not via any means of finance deals.

    • Hi Sim,

Yes, you should still receive BA points when using your Amex card. One thing to keep in mind is that some items from certain merchants are not eligible for bonus points, so you want to keep an eye on the terms and conditions for each merchant.

  11. Russell Wilson November 26, 2020

Erin, if you make a big purchase directly with a retailer and forgot to go through the portal, is there a way to retrospectively claim these bonus Avios? I can imagine canceling the order and re-ordering through the portal will do the trick but can you avoid this?

    • Hi Russell,

Unfortunately, there is no way to retroactively get the Avios for your purchase, short of canceling and re-ordering as you’ve mentioned.
