How To Sign In to Your Radisson Rewards Account

Sign in on the Radisson Rewards website.

Viewing Your Account Activity

Points Expiration

Radisson Rewards points will expire if you have no earning or redeeming activity on your account during a 24-month period.

Eligible activity to extend your points includes redeeming Radisson Rewards points for a stay or earning Radisson Rewards points from a stay, a co-branded credit card, or through a travel partner.

Radisson Rewards vs. Choice Privileges

Until July 2023, the Radisson Rewards loyalty program was split into 2 separate programs covering 2 distinctive regions:

  • Radisson Rewards Americas (Now Choice Privileges) — U.S., Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean
  • Radisson Rewards — Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific

In July 2023, Radisson Rewards Americas was integrated with Choice Privileges. Radisson Rewards Americas members can no longer earn, redeem, or transfer Radisson Rewards Americas points, and any points were transferred to the member’s Choice Privileges account.

The primary difference between the 2 programs is that you can only earn points and elite nights with each program for stays within that program’s region. So, a Choice Privileges member who stays in a European hotel, for example, will not receive credit towards Radisson Rewards elite status.

Bottom Line: Choice Privileges members who want to earn or redeem points for stays outside of the Americas will also need to join the main Radisson Rewards program.

Radisson Rewards Program Benefits

Earning Radisson Rewards Elite Status

Radisson Rewards offers 3 different levels of elite status: Club, Premium, and VIP.

You’ll need to meet the following qualifications to earn elite status in the Radisson Rewards program.

  • Club — Upon enrollment
  • Premium — 5 elite nights or 3 stays
  • VIP — 30 elite nights or 20 stays

Club Status

Radisson Rewards Club status is reachable after signing up for the program. It comes with the following benefits:

  • 8x points per $1 on Radisson stays
  • 10% discount on food and beverages
  • Priority line at check-in and checkout
  • Promotions and free nights

Premium Status

Radisson Rewards Premium status is reachable after 5 elite nights, or 3 stays, and comes with the following benefits:

  • All Club status benefits
  • 27x points per $1 on Radisson stays
  • 10% discount on food and beverages
  • Free room upgrade (to the next category)
  • Free early check-in and late checkout
  • Discount Booster option to receive up to 20% discount on your bookings
  • My Favorite Hotel benefits
  • 24-hour Premium and VIP Contact Center lines

VIP Status

Radisson Rewards Platinum status is reachable after 30 elite nights, or 20 stays, and comes with the following benefits:

  • All Premium status benefits
  • 37x points per $1 on Radisson stays
  • 15% discount on food and beverages
  • Complimentary breakfast for 2
  • Room upgrades to the best category (suites only available in selected properties)
  • Access exclusive VIP areas in selected hotels
  • Dedicated VIP customer support line

Value of Radisson Rewards Elite Status

While the Radisson Rewards program might not be as popular as other loyalty programs, you can still get solid value from it.

The benefits improve incrementally with each elite tier, offering you more points for your stays and larger discounts as your elite status improves. Members only need to open an account to receive some benefits. But the real perks are unlocked once you hit Premium status to be eligible for room upgrades.

Radisson Rewards Elite Status Match

You can status match from other hotel programs to Radisson Rewards and receive Premium status.

To request a status match, you’ll need to contact Member Services by phone (select the country or region you’re calling from) or via the contact form. You must provide proof of your current membership with another hotel program. If your status match is successful, it is valid for the current program year only if you have not had a Status Match within the last 5 years.

How To Earn Radisson Rewards Points

When it comes to how to earn Radisson Rewards points, you’ve got plenty of good options.

Earning Points on Stays

Naturally, the easiest way to rack up Radisson Rewards points is by staying at Radisson hotels in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific (all other locations are part of the Choice Privileges program). When you do so, you’ll earn at least 8x points point $1 on your stay.

Are you booking for multiple people? You can earn 10x per $1 spent on room bookings on behalf of others. Earnings are based on eligible stays consumed for room charges only, excluding taxes and service charges.

Elite Status Bonus

If you hold elite status in the Radisson Rewards program, then the number of points you earn on your stays gets a nice boost.

Premium

VIP

30 nights or 20 stays

As you can see, as you progress through the elite tiers, the number of points you’ll earn on each stay increases, giving you a bonus when you reach Premium status and an even bigger bonus once you reach VIP.

Meetings and Events

Have some upcoming business meetings or planning a large event? Why not do so at a Radisson hotel and earn some extra points while you’re at it?

When you host meetings and events at Radisson properties, you will earn 5x points per $1 spent.

Radisson Rewards Promotions

Like most hotel loyalty programs, Radisson Rewards occasionally runs promotions that allow you to earn additional points on your stays.

Previous promotions have included offers like double points on stays, a set amount of bonus points for each stay you complete, etc. Always keep your eyes peeled for current and upcoming promotions so you can be sure to maximize the number of points you earn.

Car Rentals

Radisson also partners with several rental car companies that allow you to earn additional Radisson Rewards points for your car rental.

Europcar

Up to 1,800 points per rental

Sixt

750 points per rental + up to 15% off + free upgrade (subject to availability and status level)

So, if you’re someone who rents cars often, either for business or for pleasure, and you prefer to earn Radisson Rewards points over rental car points, this is an excellent way to do just that!

Purchase Radisson Rewards Points

Radisson gives loyalty members the opportunity to purchase points to help them reach their redemption goals faster.

Points must be purchased in increments of 1,000 points, and members can purchase up to 250,000 points per account per calendar year. If you were to purchase 250,000 points, the price would be $1,750, or 0.7 cents per point.

Hot Tip: We generally don’t recommend purchasing points unless you have a specific need to do so, like topping off your account for a particular redemption. If you do decide to purchase Radisson Rewards points, you should hold off on doing so until a bonus promotion is offered.

How To Redeem Radisson Rewards Points

Radisson Blu Berlin

Radisson offers over 700 hotels across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, where you can redeem your Radisson Rewards points. These hotels are broken down into 5 categories that cost an increasing number of points each night based on the quality and location of the hotel.

Radisson Rewards Award Chart

Radisson, like many hotel chains, no longer utilizes an award chart. Instead, the program utilizes dynamic pricing, which means you’ll pay more or less depending on your travel dates.

You can take a look at how many points are required for a particular hotel.

Other Ways To Redeem Radisson Rewards Points

Airline Transfer Partners

You can transfer your Radisson Rewards points to Air France-KLM, British Airways, and SAS at a ratio of 10 Radisson Rewards points to 1 airline mile/point.

Points must be transferred in increments starting at 2,000, which would earn you 200 airline miles. Keep in mind that transfers can take up to 4 to 6 weeks for the miles to post to your airline account.

Priority Pass

Cashing in 160,000 Radisson Rewards points will give you a Priority Pass membership. However, there are many credit cards that come with a Priority Pass membership as a benefit of being a cardholder.

Final Thoughts

While Radisson isn’t the largest hotel chain out there, between its relative ease of earning elite status and multiple ways to earn and redeem points, Radisson Rewards should be considered if you’re traveling to a region served by the program.

We hope this guide has been helpful as you begin to earn and redeem Radisson Rewards points!
