Truist Financial is a massive financial services company spanning 16 states (including Washington, D.C.) with more than 2,000 branches dotted around the U.S. The company is the result of a 2019 merger between SunTrust Bank and BB&T.
In this guide, we’ll show you all the best rewards credit cards from Truist, as well as how to maximize the bank’s Truist Enjoy Rewards.
Truist Enjoy Rewards is the umbrella term for any rewards earned from Truist Enjoy Rewards credit cards. There are 2 separate systems for Truist Enjoy Rewards:
All Truist credit cards are issued by Visa, which is great because of their near-universal acceptance globally.
Truist Enjoy Rewards expire 5 years after they are earned.
Hot Tip: If you close your Truist cards, you’ll immediately forfeit your points, so make sure to use your rewards if you’re considering closing your card!
Truist Enjoy Beyond Rewards is earned by just 1 Truist credit card, which happens to be Truist’s flagship credit card.
The Truist Enjoy Beyond card is Truist’s most premium credit card, and it offers an introductory welcome bonus, plus up to 3x points:
You’ll also get a Loyalty Cash Bonus at the time of rewards redemption based on the prior 3 calendar months’ balances on your combined deposit and investment balances.
With a Truist Dimension Checking account or Signature Advantage Check account, you’ll get:

The annual fee is $195.
Truist Enjoy Travel Rewards is Truist’s travel rewards program, designed to reward its clients who find value in travel-based rewards. Let’s look at the credit cards that offer access to Truist Enjoy Travel Rewards.
The Truist Enjoy Travel card is the other personal travel rewards credit card available to Truist customers.
It has a welcome bonus and earns up to 2x miles:
You’ll also earn a Loyalty Travel Bonus of up to 50% if you have a Truist personal checking, personal savings, or personal money market account.
Those who have either a Truist Dimension Checking account or a Signature Advantage Check account will get:
And those with a Truist One Checking account will get:
This card has a $78 statement credit for TSA PreCheck or $100 statement credit for Global Entry once every 4 years.
There are no foreign transaction fees with this credit card, and it comes with Zero Liability Protection, contactless payments, and mobile wallets.
This card has no annual fee.
Hot Tip: If you’re only interested in cash-back, you could go for the Truist Enjoy Cash Credit Card, which earns either 1.5% cash-back on all purchases or 3% cash-back on gas, 2% cash-back on utilities and groceries (up to $1,000 monthly combined spend cap), plus 1% cash-back on other purchases. This card has no annual fee and a 0% introductory APR for the first 12 months. There’s also a secured version of this card that has a $19 annual fee but requires a $400 minimum deposit.
In addition to Truist Enjoy Travel Rewards, there is a separate rewards program for business owners looking for travel rewards known as Truist Business Travel Credit Card Rewards.
There’s currently 1 credit card that earns Truist Business Travel Credit Card Rewards. Let’s take a look at this card below!
Truist’s flagship rewards credit card for business owners is the Truist Business Travel Rewards Credit Card, and it earns:
This card also enjoys a Loyalty Rewards Bonus of up to 50%, which is based on your Truist business checking, business savings, or business money market accounts.
Those who have a Truist Dynamic Business Checking account will get:
As usual, there are no foreign transaction fees, and you’ll get Visa Zero Liability protection, contactless payments accounting software integration, and fee-free employee cards.
The annual fee is $49, which is waived for the first year.
Hot Tip: There’s also a cash-back business credit card called the Truist Business Cash Rewards Credit Card that offers 0% introductory APR on purchases for 9 months, 3% cash-back on gas, 2% cash-back at restaurants and office supply stores (up to $2,000 per month in combined spending in 2% and 3% categories), and 1% cash-back on other purchases … all without an annual fee!
Let’s talk about Truist points. We’ll lump them all into 1 umbrella since the process for redeeming those points is fairly similar.
You can currently redeem your points for travel, cash-back, gift cards, and more.
Your rewards are redeemable through the online portal at cardrewards.truist.com or through the Truist Rewards Service Center at 800-255-7125.
The Rewards Service Center is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST, and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST. Just keep in mind that there’s a $25 redemption fee when calling the Rewards Service Center.
All redemptions are worth 1 cent per point, except in the instances where you receive a Loyalty Travel Bonus or Loyalty Rewards Bonus.
You must redeem a minimum of 2,500 points or miles in order to receive a statement credit, electronic deposit, or check.
Truist, formerly BB&T and SunTrust Bank, offers some pretty unfussy credit cards.
The most exciting aspect of Truist Rewards is that if you have a minimum deposit or investment account balance with them, you can earn up to 50% additional value from the Loyalty Travel Bonus or Loyalty Rewards Bonus, which would net you 1.5 cents per point!
Besides that, Truist only offers bare-minimum benefits under its Visa Signature identity.
The information regarding the Truist Enjoy Beyond Credit Card, Truist Enjoy Travel Credit Card, Truist Business Travel Rewards Credit Card, Truist Enjoy Cash Credit Card, and Truist Business Cash Rewards Credit Card was independently collected by Upgraded Points and was not provided nor reviewed by the issuer.
In the case of Truist, the highest redemption value is when you redeem your point while you get a 50% Loyalty Travel Bonus with a deposit or investment account balance of $100,000 or more. This will get you 1.5 cents per point.
All you need to do is have an eligible Truist cash-back rewards credit card. Simply make purchases and you’ll accrue cash-back. When you’re ready to redeem them, you can either get a check mailed out to you, deposit your rewards into an eligible Truist checking or savings account, or use your rewards as a statement credit towards your credit card purchases and balance.
