Aeroplan is offering up to 3.5x bonus points on select flights to several destinations in 2026, which is a lengthy promotion that could be very rewarding for some members.

The reservation deadline varies by destination, so you’ll need to pay close attention to the travel dates and booking deadline for any offers you’re interested in. Note that bonus points aren’t available in basic economy with any of these offers.

Here’s what you should know.

You can earn up to 3.5x bonus Aeroplan points on select flights worldwide. The travel dates and booking deadlines vary, though.

There’s no registration required for these offers, which is nice.

This promotion applies to paid fares in economy (excluding basic) for most offers, though it applies to business class on the Europe promotion. To earn bonus points, your Aeroplan number must be attached to your reservation.

Both one-way and round-trip bookings are eligible for bonus points. Flights booked through Air Canada Vacations aren’t eligible, however. Codeshare flights also aren’t eligible. Only flights operated by Air Canada and its subsidiaries qualify for the bonus earnings.

Is It Worth It?

When flying with Air Canada, you’ll earn Aeroplan points based on your spending. Aeroplan overhauled its earning structure in 2026, moving to a revenue-based system.

It could be worth checking Air Canada’s flight deals page to see what’s available. Alternatively, if you were already eyeing a trip, booking now could add up to 3.5x more points to what you would’ve earned anyway.

Aeroplan points are relatively easy to earn since the program is a transfer partner of American Express, Capital One, Chase, and Marriott Bonvoy.

Final Thoughts

Several new Aeroplan promotions offer up to 3.5x bonus points on select flights, with most of these promotions running through the end of the year. However, you need to book by May 18 for most routes and remember that basic economy flights are excluded.

If you’ve got a few trips planned this year, booking them by the applicable deadlines (June 15 for most routes) could really boost your earnings. There’s no cap on how many bonus points you can earn by using these new promotions.
