Aeroplan is offering up to 4x bonus points on select flights to several destinations through 2027, which is a lengthy promotion that could be very rewarding for some members.

The reservation deadline varies by destination, so you’ll need to pay close attention to the travel dates and booking deadline for any offers you’re interested in. Note that bonus points aren’t available in basic economy with any of these offers.

Here’s what you should know.

Aeroplan Promotion Details

You can earn up to 4x bonus Aeroplan points on eligible flights worldwide. The travel dates and booking deadlines vary, though.

Flights booked by September 15 for travel between September 15, 2026, and July 31, 2027, can earn 4x bonus points. This offer applies to both Canadian and international destinations:

Eligible destinations in Canada: Between Montreal (YUL) and Vancouver (YVR), Calgary (YYC), Edmonton (YEG), Halifax (YHZ), and St. John’s (YYT)
U.S. destinations: San Francisco (SFO), Los Angeles (LAX), Boston (BOS), Tampa (TPA), and Fort Myers (RSW)
Mexico and Caribbean destinations: Mazatlán (MZT), Montego Bay (MBJ), Tulum (TQO), Puerto Escondido (PXM), and Monterrey (MTY)
Destinations in South America: Quito (UIO), Cartagena (CTG), Lima (LIM), Rio de Janeiro (GIG), and Santiago (SCL)
Eligible destinations in Europe: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, and France
Destinations in Asia-Pacific: Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan, and Thailand

Members who book vacation packages to eligible destinations will also earn 4x points on the flight portion of the package.

Aeroplan members can also earn 3x bonus points on flights from Toronto City (YTZ) if they book by September 30 and fly by December 31, 2026. Eligible destinations include New York-La Guardia (LGA), Boston (BOS), Washington Dulles (IAD), and Chicago (ORD).

These offers don’t require registration, and they only apply to paid fares in economy (excluding basic). To earn bonus points, your Aeroplan number must be attached to your reservation.

Both one-way and round-trip bookings are eligible for bonus points. Codeshare flights also aren’t eligible. Only flights operated by Air Canada and its subsidiaries qualify for the bonus earnings.

Is It Worth It?

When flying with Air Canada, you’ll earn Aeroplan points based on your spending. Aeroplan overhauled its earning structure in 2026, moving to a revenue-based system.

It could be worth checking Air Canada’s flight deals page to see what’s available. Alternatively, if you were already eyeing a trip, booking now could add up to 5x more points to what you would’ve earned anyway.

Aeroplan points are relatively easy to earn since the program is a transfer partner of American Express, Capital One, Chase, and Marriott Bonvoy.

Several new Aeroplan promotions offer up to 4x bonus points on select flights, and there are some generous travel windows included. However, you need to book in the next few weeks, and remember that basic economy flights are excluded.

If you’ve got a few trips planned for later this year or into 2027, booking them by the applicable deadlines could really boost your earnings. There’s no cap on how many bonus points you can earn by using these new promotions.
