Alaska Celebrates 90th Anniversary With 90k Miles for Employees

As a thank you to all employees who worked to continue keeping the airline running during the COVID-19 pandemic and in celebration of 90 years of service, Alaska Airlines has provided all active employees with 90,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles to use on future flights.

As airline workers became essential positions during the pandemic, Alaska employees had to report to work each day regardless of the environmental conditions. They weathered an economic storm as the pandemic raged on, and while some employees were laid off or others departed the airline, many remained on for the long haul. • 30,000 miles from San Francisco (SFO) to Hawaii (HNL) round-trip in Main Cabin
• 60,000 miles for round-trip travel from the West Coast to Europe in Main Cabin on Oneworld partners
• 90,000 miles for 9 round-trip Main Cabin flights from Seattle (SEA) to destinations up and down the West Coast
