Alaska Airlines has announced several new routes that will link cities across the West Coast to the Caribbean and Mexico. This is a significant huge expansion for the airline and it’s great news for flyers in the Pacific Northwest and on the West Coast who will soon have even more opportunities to fly nonstop to popular beach destinations.

These new routes will commence this winter and will be operated by a couple of different aircraft types.

Here’s what you should know about these exciting new routes.

Alaska’s New Winter Routes

Here are the new routes Alaska is launching:

Both Nassau routes will be operated by a Boeing 737, and the 2 routes to Mexico will be operated by the Embraer 175. Both aircraft will offer First Class, Premium (Alaska’s extra-legroom economy product), and Main Cabin seats.

All flights will commence on December 15, 2023, and will run through April 9, 2024, perfect for winter escapes from the U.S.

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking to get away this winter, these new flights to sunny destinations will be a great way to warm up.

The departure times are especially great for tourists, as they allow for maximum time on the beach. If you’re interested in booking any of these, make sure to do so before the introductory fares go away!
