In 2018, American Express launched a limited-time Rose Gold version of the popular American Express® Gold Card. Then in 2021, Amex made the decision to make this color choice a permanent option based on its popularity.

That option was not available to American Express® Business Gold Card holders, though, until now!

Here’s how you can get your hands on this shiny rose gold card.

Amex Business Gold Card Now Available in Rose Gold

When applying for the Amex Business Gold card, you can now select whether you want the classic Gold version or the new Rose Gold.

Other Amex Business Gold Card Changes

In addition to the new Rose Gold color option, the Amex Business Gold card is adding a slew of new perks:

  • New 4x points bonus categories, including transit purchases, U.S. purchases from electronic goods retailers, and U.S. monthly wireless telephone services (top 2 eligible categories where their business spent the most each billing cycle on the first $150,000 in combined purchases each calendar year)
  • New 3x points on flights, prepaid hotels, and prepaid flight + hotel packages booked through AmexTravel.com
  • Up to $395 in annual statement credits (up to $240 at FedEx, Grubhub, and office supply stores and up to $155 toward a Walmart+ subscription; enrollment required)
  • Cell phone protection

That said, these new additions will see the card’s annual fee increase to $375 as of February 1, 2024. Given that, you’ll want to ensure the card still offers enough value to you with these new perks to justify paying an additional $80 with your annual renewal.

Final Thoughts

Rose gold fans rejoice, as now holders of the Amex Business Gold card can choose between either color, just like the personal version.

So, which card color will you choose?
