Centurion Lounge

The Centurion Lounge returns to the U.S. Open for 2026, one of the biggest perks for select cardmembers — reserved for those with the Platinum Card® from American Express or the Centurion® Card from American Express*.

Note that The Business Platinum Card® from American Express and the Business Centurion® Card from American Express** are once again excluded from this list.

Located on the second level of the Louis Armstrong Stadium in the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, this exclusive pop-up lounge will feature the return of Chef Michael Solomonov and Chef Kwame Onwuachi, 2 award-winning partners from the new Culinary Collective by The Centurion Lounge.

Plus, cardmembers can enjoy specialty cocktails designed by renowned Bar Director Harrison Ginsberg of Overstory.

To access the U.S. Open Centurion Lounge, you need to make a reservation via Resy. However, there will also be an option for waitlist access during the event. Same-day reservations are available at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time each day, starting on August 30, 2026.

Amex Platinum cardmembers can make U.S. Open Centurion Lounge reservations for up to 2 people, while Centurion cardmembers may make reservations for up to 4 people. Reservations provide lounge access for 1 hour, and you can only make 1 reservation per day.

Rain or shine, the hours of operation will be:

  • Sunday, August 30 through Wednesday, September 9, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 10, from 4 to 7 p.m.
  • Friday, September 11, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Sunday, September 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Each eligible cardmember with a confirmed reservation may receive 1 complimentary gift bag while supplies last.

Hot Tip:

Gift bags are limited to 1 per person for the full duration of the tournament and are not guaranteed.

American Express Card Member Lounge

If you can’t snag access to the Centurion Lounge, don’t worry, the American Express Card Member Lounge is open to all cardmembers and up to 2 guests.

This lounge will feature an exclusive Moët & Chandon selection available for purchase for members 21 and older. Plus, there will be a wellness station (for Amex Platinum card and Centurion cardmembers), a postcard station, and exclusive merchandise.

U.S. Open American Express Fan Experience

In addition to the lounge options, American Express will bring back its popular customized tennis ball and station and dedicated refresh area stocked with Dove products, as well as a new lineup of interactive activities, including:

  • American Express Radios
  • Complimentary Phone Chain & Charm Station
  • Free MTA subway ride cards (while supplies last)
  • Targeted Amex Offers, and more
  • Tennis Rhythm Rally

The activations aren’t limited to the stadium; Amex and Hilton Honors are teaming up to build a full-sized tennis court inside the Waldorf Astoria New York’s legendary Grand Ballroom.

The debut of the Waldorf Astoria Racquet Club will be on August 27, 2026, and tickets start at $1,500 apiece. Hilton Honors members looking for tickets can redeem their points via Hilton Honors Experiences.

Final Thoughts

The U.S. Open is one of the most popular sporting events of the year — and the most prestigious tennis tournament in the U.S. — so getting access to exclusive experiences and the Centurion Lounge inside the grounds makes it even more special.

This is one of the best Amex pop-up experiences of the year, thanks to the food, cocktails, and stadium setting. Trust us, it’s worth putting in the effort to snag a hard-to-get reservation.
