American Express has introduced a new Amex Offer, and it is an incredibly easy way to earn cash-back in exchange for little effort.

When you make qualifying purchases using Apple Pay linked to your eligible, enrolled American Express card, you’ll receive $5 cash back. Even better, you can use this offer up to 3 times, receiving up to $15 in statement credits.

Many people use Apple Pay daily without even thinking about it, so this offer is very easy to take advantage of. Here’s what you need to know.

Offer Details

Targeted American Express cardholders should check their Amex Offers for a new offer from Apple Pay.

First, ensure that your card with the offer on it is linked to your Apple Wallet on your iPhone or Apple Watch. This is a very easy step, but it’s required, or else you won’t be able to use Apple Pay. Once it’s hooked up, you need to add this offer to your card and make a purchase of $50 or more with the same card you added the offer to. It’s as simple as that.

The offer expires on May 8, 2025, and qualifying purchases must post to your account by that date to earn the statement credits. Apple Pay purchases can be made online or in-store using this offer.

With this offer, you’ll receive a $5 statement credit after a single purchase of $50 or more using Apple Pay. If you maximize this offer by using it 3 times, you’ll get $15 cash-back after 3 purchases of $50 or more each.

Hot Tip:

If you have multiple cards linked to Apple Pay, make sure you use the one enrolled in the Amex Offer to trigger the credit. Using other cards won’t count, even though switching between cards within Apple Pay is very easy.

Amex Offers

Amex Offers can be found on both the American Express website and through the Amex mobile app. You’ll need to click on each card that you have, and then you’ll see any offers you were targeted for, which could be available on one, all, or none of your cards. If this offer is available on multiple cards, choose the card that will earn you the highest cash-back for your purchases.

Final Thoughts

Check your Amex cards, because this is a super easy Amex Offer to get up to $15 back for doing something you likely already do anyway. Make sure you link your Amex cards to Apple Pay and use an eligible card for this offer. Otherwise, you won’t receive the credit.
