Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

American Express is out with its latest Amex Offers, and if you’re planning a trip to Las Vegas, you’ll find these new offers especially appealing.

There are 2 Amex Offers floating around: an offer for MGM’s non-luxury hotels and another for MGM’s upper-end properties. Both can save you a significant amount on your next MGM stay.

Here are the details.

Amex Offer for MGM’s Non-luxury Hotels

With the first offer, you can save $80 when you spend $400 or more at MGM’s non-luxury hotels. Even though these hotels aren’t the best MGM has to offer, many of them are nice when it comes to Las Vegas, so don’t shy away from this deal.

You’ll need to add this offer to your card and then charge your stay to that same card by November 30, 2024. Traditionally, Amex Offers need to post during the eligible period, meaning you might not want to share a stay on July 30 as it likely won’t post in time.

You’ll need to book directly on MGM’s website to follow the terms of the offer. You’re eligible to use this offer at any one of these MGM properties in Las Vegas:

  • Beau Rivage
  • Borgata
  • Delano
  • Excalibur
  • Luxor
  • Mandalay Bay
  • MGM Grand Las Vegas
  • MGM National Harbor
  • MGM Springfield
  • New York-New York
  • NoMad Las Vegas
  • Park MGM
  • The Signature at MGM Grand
  • Vdara

Make sure you join MGM Rewards to earn points and tier credits on your stay. Once you book your stay, if you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member, you can also take advantage of earning Marriott points by adding your number to your reservation. It’s a very easy process.

Amex Offer for MGM’s Luxury Hotels

A second Amex Offer provides more significant savings than the non-luxury promotion, and you can save $140 when you spend $700 or more. This works out to be a 20% discount if you spend exactly $700.

This offer is only valid at the Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, and ARIA, which are considered MGM’s top-end hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Like the other offer, it’s only valid until November 30, 2024, and enrollment is required. All of the terms about enrolling, using the same card, and booking directly still apply with this offer.

Final Thoughts

Las Vegas hotels can be very expensive, contrary to popular belief. With conferences, events, and high rollers regularly filling hotels, rates are sometimes through the roof. Thus, these Amex Offers are a great way to save a few bucks without having to break the bank.

The nice thing about these 2 offers is that they are valid for hotels directly on the Las Vegas Strip. No matter where you stay, you’re still within the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas and will have easy access to shows, restaurants, and more.
