American Express just added a generous new Amex Offer for select Marriott hotels. If maximized, this targeted offer could represent 40% off your stay.

Let’s take a look at the details.

Spend $350 at Marriott, Get $140 Back

Now through November 23, 2024, you can receive a $140 statement credit after spending $350 or more at participating Marriott Bonvoy properties in the U.S. and U.S. territories, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

If you can spend exactly $350, the $140 statement credit you can receive is the equivalent of 40% cash-back!

This offer is valid at most of Marriott’s brands but specifically excludes Marriott Vacation Club, Marriott Grand Residence Club, Design Hotels, Protea Hotels, Marriott Executive Apartments, Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, Vistana Signature Network and Vistana Residence Network properties.

This is a pretty straightforward offer, but there are some details to keep in mind:

  • Spend $350 or more (can be in multiple transactions) to receive $140 back
  • Charges must be made between September 24, 2024, and November 23, 2024
  • Reservations must be booked online at Marriott.com, via the Marriott Bonvoy app, or by calling 888-236-2427
  • Valid only at participating properties in the U.S. and U.S. territories, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
  • The offer must be added to your Amex card before making a purchase.

Room charges will trigger this offer; however, gift cards and point purchases are excluded.

How To Activate Amex Offers

As is often the case with Amex Offers, Marriott Bonvoy offers are targeted, meaning that you may (or may not) have this particular offer in your account.

To check, simply log on to your American Express profile via the website or app and look in the Amex Offers & Benefits section to see these offers.

Hit Add to Card, and it will be ready to use. You must enroll in the offer before purchasing to receive a statement credit or bonus points.

Lastly, you must book directly through Marriott Bonvoy to ensure you will receive your statement credit.

If you happen to have this offer on a Marriott co-branded American Express card, such as the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card or the Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card, be sure to book and pay for your stay with one of those to earn 6x Marriott Bonvoy points for your stay.

Hot Tip:

Amex Offers change regularly. We aim to keep you in the know as hot offers are released, and it’s good to check your offers regularly (we’ve also created a handy guide to the best current Amex Offers). Some offers can disappear fast as they’re limited to a certain number of cardholders.

Final Thoughts

Amex Offers are some of the most valuable and underrated benefits of holding an American Express card. Saving money on purchases you were already planning on making is always welcome.

These Marriott offers could save you up to 40% on your stay, so be sure to activate them if you have any stays coming up this fall.
