Update:The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

There are a couple of new Marriott Amex Offers, allowing cardholders to save on upcoming stays through the end of March.

Let’s dive into the details.

Save $100 When You Spend $300+ at Marriott Hotels

Cardholders can enroll to receive a $100 statement credit after spending $300 or more on purchases at Marriott Bonvoy hotels in the U.S., U.S. territories, Canada, the Caribbean, and Mexico. That’s an incredible 33% savings!

This offer is valid at most of Marriott’s brands, but specifically excludes Marriott Vacation Club, Marriott Grand Residence Club, Design Hotels, Protea Hotels, Marriott Executive Apartments, Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, Vistana Signature Network and Vistana Residence Network properties.

Note that the offer is only valid for the room rate and room charges and won’t count for purchases made on online retail purchases, hotel amenities, or Marriott Bonvoy points. This offer is valid through March 31, 2024.

Get 20% Back on Marriott Purchases, up to $60

Targeted cardholders can also get 20% back as a statement credit when using an eligible Amex business card on their next Marriott stay in the U.S., U.S. territories, the Caribbean, Canada, and Mexico through March 31, 2024.

The same property exclusions apply for this Amex Offer, but it can be an easy way for Amex cardholders to save on upcoming Marriott stays. Finally, the limit of total statement credits is $50.

How To Activate Amex Offers

As is often the case with Amex Offers, Marriott Bonvoy offers are targeted, meaning that you may (or may not) have these particular ones in your account.

To check, simply log on to your American Express profile via the website or app and look in the Amex Offers & Benefits section to see these offer.

Hit “Add to Card” and it will be ready to use. You must enroll in the offer before purchasing to receive a statement credit or bonus points.

Lastly, you must book directly through the Marriott Bonvoy website to ensure you will receive your credit.

Hot Tip: Amex Offers change regularly. While we aim to keep you in the know as hot offers are released, it’s good to check your offers regularly (we’ve also created a handy guide to the best current Amex Offers). Some offers can disappear fast as they’re limited to a certain number of cardholders.

There’s also a chance you may have been targeted on several of your American Express credit cards.

If you happen to have one of Marriott’s co-branded American Express cards, such as the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card or the Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card, be sure to book and pay for your stay with one of those to earn 6x Marriott Bonvoy points for your stay.

These offer can also be used in conjunction with other Marriott Bonvoy offers you may have saved.

Final Thoughts

You’ll definitely want to check your American Express accounts to see if you’ve been targeted for these offers … and it’d be even better if you’re able to use a Marriott Bonvoy co-branded credit card for maximum return.

These Amex Offers aren’t just helpful for saving on your next Marriott stay, but can go a long way to proving the value of Amex cards in the long run.
