Avianca LifeMiles is back with a new promotion that lets members multiply their recent mileage earnings. Aptly named Multiply Your Miles, this limited-time promotion lets you double or triple recent earnings, lowering the cost of buying LifeMiles to just 1.23 cents per mile. This promotion runs through October 14, 2025.

Avianca LifeMiles credit cardholders will get the best deals, as they receive a 15% discount when purchasing miles through this promotion when they pay with their card. Additionally, the more miles you multiply, the less you’ll pay per mile.

Avianca LifeMiles‘ Multiply Your Miles promotion lets LifeMiles members multiply the miles they’ve recently earned by flying, spending on LifeMiles credit or debit cards, flying Avianca or its partners, and through Shopping with LifeMiles. Unfortunately, miles transferred in from transferable points programs and LifeMiles Hotels cannot be multiplied.

According to Avianca, members can purchase miles at the following rates:

50 to 1,000 miles: 1.85 cents per mile
1,001+ miles: 1.45 to 1.84 cents per mile

LifeMiles members paying with an eligible LifeMiles-branded credit card are eligible for a 15% discount when they multiply their miles. This reduces the cost per mile to as low as 1.23 cents:

50 to 1,000 miles: 1.57 cents per mile
1,001+ miles: 1.23 to 1.56 cents per mile

Generally speaking, the more miles you multiply, the less you’ll pay per mile. Avianca doesn’t list how many miles you need to multiply to get the lowest rate, so check the promotion’s landing page and price out your own purchase.

Whether or not buying Avianca LifeMiles through this promotion is a good deal depends on the price you’re eligible for and how you plan to use the miles. For example, if you can buy miles at 1.23 cents apiece and redeem them for 2 cents apiece, it’s a good deal.
