If Ethiopia has been on your bucket list, but the 13+ hour flight is too much to handle in economy, we’ve got great news. We’ve found a bunch of award availability in business class for as low as 80,000 miles each way.

With plenty of dates and U.S. cities involved in this alert, booking your flight should be an easy task. But these seats could go quickly, so we recommend booking sooner than later.

Let’s take a look at the details.

Award Deal — Details

The birthplace of coffee is beckoning you, and you can fly there in Ethiopian Airlines‘ lie-flat business class.

While not the most groundbreaking product, it is a great option for those looking for nonstop flights from the U.S. to Addis Ababa, and it’s always easy to find.

The easiest way to find these flights is to use a tool like Seats.aero. Simply use the Explore feature and search between North America and Africa across a range of dates and routes at once.

To narrow your search down, type your desired airports into the search field. Anything that shows in green is a nonstop flight.

The absolute cheapest fare is available via United Airlines MileagePlus at 80,000 miles plus $5.60 each way, but that fare is exclusively for United cardholders.

If you have The New United℠ Explorer Card, The New United Quest℠ Card, or The New United Club℠ Card, for example, you can take advantage of a 9% discount. Otherwise, this flight would cost 88,000 miles per person.

For those without United MileagePlus miles, you can book the same flight via Air Canada Aeroplan for 90,000 points plus CA$80 ($56).

Economy seats are available from both programs, starting at 45,000 and 55,000 miles and points, respectively.

How To Book

To book these flights on Ethiopian Airlines, you can use United MileagePlus miles or Air Canada Aeroplan points.

If you need to boost your balance, you can transfer Bilt Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and Marriott Bonvoy points to United. You can transfer American Express Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, Capital One Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and Marriott Bonvoy to Air Canada.

No matter which program you choose, you have plenty of transfer partners to choose from. You also can boost your balance with multiple United Airlines credit cards or Air Canada Aeroplan credit cards.
