Bilt Rewards is back with its latest monthly Rent Day promotion. Today, September 1, members can take advantage of a transfer bonus to both Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.

The September Rent Free game is headlined by Hugh Jackman, the winner of numerous awards in film and on Broadway, who is joining as a featured celebrity participant. Bilt Rewards members will also earn double points on non-rent spending with their Bilt co-branded credit card, up to 1,000 points per Rent Day (offer terms).

Bilt Rent Day: September 2026 Edition

Transfer Bonus to Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic

Bilt Rewards is offering its members a transfer bonus to both Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red today, September 1, 2026.

Those with higher Bilt Rewards elite status receive a better transfer bonus:

• Platinum: 75% bonus
• Gold: 45% bonus
• Silver: 35% bonus
• Blue: 25% bonus

Members can transfer a maximum of 150,000 points using this offer, whether they transfer to Virgin Red, Virgin Atlantic, or a combination of both.

The transfer rate from Bilt to Virgin is typically 1:1. We value Bilt Points at 2 cents per point, while we value Virgin Points at 1.4 cents each. If you’re a Bilt Platinum member and transfer 50,000 Bilt Points, you’d turn $1,000 worth of Bilt Points into 87,500 Virgin Points worth $1,225.

Targeted Offer: Statement Credit Redemption Bonus

Targeted Bilt credit cardholders will be able to redeem points for a statement credit at elevated rates on September 1. There’s a minimum redemption of 1,000 points, and the boosted rate depends on which card the member holds:

• Bilt Blue Card (rates & fees): 25% more value
• Bilt Obsidian Card (rates & fees): 50% more value
• Bilt Palladium Card (rates & fees): 100% more value

Typically, Bilt Points are redeemed at 1 cent apiece as a statement credit, but targeted cardholders can receive as much as 2 cents per point this way, available until September 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Bilt Neighborhood Comedy

Bilt Rewards members have access to comedy shows at 17 venues in 12 cities. Locations include Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Boston; Chandler, Arizona; Chicago; Denver; Los Angeles; New York City; San Diego; San Francisco; Seattle; and Somerville, Massachusetts.

There are 2 types of experiences available:

• Comedy Club Experiences: These cost $30 or $40 and include 2 drinks at most venues. Alternatively, you can redeem 2,000 or 2,500 points, respectively, to book these.
• Bespoke Comedy Experiences: These cost $75 (or can be booked for as low as 5,000 Bilt Points) and include premium shows at unique venues, along with drinks and light bites.

These events take place throughout the month of September.

Bespoke experiences are available this month at PJ Clarke’s (Sidecar) and The Seville in New York City, Village Underground in New York City, Sun Rose Jazz Club in Los Angeles, the Iberian Pig in Atlanta, Trillium Fort Point in Boston, Hawksmoor Steakhouse in Chicago, Georgetown Ballroom in Seattle, and the Left Door in San Francisco. Additionally, on September 1, members can attend “Jared Freid: The Family Plan” at Village Underground in NYC, where Jared is performing his Netflix showing that airs on September 1.

Bookings for these tickets went on sale at 11:50 a.m. ET on July 29 for Platinum and Gold members. Bookings open at noon for other members. Bookings close when they’re sold out or at 11 a.m. of the show date, whichever comes first.

Members can purchase up to 4 tickets each. All tickets are final sale and will be distributed via the ticket processor on the date of the show. Bilt Rewards members can apply up to $50 in Bilt Cash (up to $100 of Bilt Cash earned rolls over to the next year) toward these experiences, with the rest paid in cash.

Neighborhood Dining Experience

This Rent Day, Bilt is continuing its dining experiences with 39 restaurants across 7 cities: Arlington, Texas; Boston; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Jersey City, New Jersey; Miami; New York City; and Washington, D.C.

Bookings opened on August 31 at 11:50 a.m. ET for Platinum and Gold members and noon ET for all other members. Bookings closed on August 31 at 5 p.m. ET. There’s a purchase limit of 4 seats per member for a single experience (though members can book multiple events), all experience sales are final, and members can purchase multiple experiences this month.

These events feature multicourse tasting menus at premier neighborhood restaurants, with 3 to 4 courses or omakase, depending on the venue. Prices range from $40 to $75 (or 2,500 to 5,000 Bilt Points), and select locations offer drink add-ons ranging from $20 to $46 (or 1,500 to 3,000 Bilt Points). Optional cocktail pairings are available at most venues. Add-ons must be selected at the time of initial purchase and can also be redeemed with points.

Bilt Rewards members can apply up to $50 in Bilt Cash, with the remaining cost paid in cash.

Neighborhood Fitness Experiences

Bilt collaborates with Barry’s and SoulCycle to offer free classes and exclusive add-ons on Rent Day. There are 580 spots available at Barry’s studios nationwide. There are 875 spots available at SoulCycle studios nationwide for Bilt members, though quantities vary by location.

All members are invited to book their complimentary class starting on August 29, 2026. Reservations open at 11:50 a.m. ET for Platinum and Gold members or noon ET for others. All bookings are final and closed on August 31 at 7 p.m. ET.

Bilt Neighborhood Food Truck Featuring Fish Cheeks

Bilt is bringing back its Neighborhood food experience at Bilt’s headquarters at 837 Washington Street in New York City. Bilt members can stop by the food truck between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on September 1 for complimentary crab or veggie fried rice, served with cucumber, nam jim seafood, and prik nam pla, paired with Fish Cheeks’ Thai Iced Tea.

Exclusive Acess to the Global Citizen Festival

Bilt members can get general admission tickets to the 2026 Global Citizen Festival on Central Park’s Great Lawn. The event is hosted by Hugh Jackman.

Performers include Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean, Lenny Kravitz, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER, with appearances by Rachel Brosnahan and Gayle King.

The event takes place on September 26 at 4 p.m. ET, and there’s a capacity of 100 people. Members can redeem 5,000 Bilt Points, and bookings opened on August 29 at 11:50 a.m. ET for Platinum and Gold members. Other members were able to book starting 10 minutes later at noon.

Win a Trip to the Global Citizen Festival

Members can complete an in-app survey to enter, and 3 lucky members (plus 1 guest each) will win a trip to NYC for the Global Citizen Festival.

Flights and hotels will be covered by Bilt. Other experiences include drinks in the park on September 25 and the festival itself on September 26.

Entries are available from August 28 at 9 a.m. ET until September 2 at 3 a.m. ET. Winners will be announced on September 4.

The Bilt Collection x Global Citizen

Bilt is offering an exclusive selection of co-branded Global Citizen merchandise in The Bilt Collection, starting on August 28 and available while supplies list.

Items include a hat and a hoodie, with the hat costing $30 or 4,300 points. The hoodie will cost $75 or 10,750 points. Members can apply up to $10 of Bilt Cash to the purchase.

Rent Free Game Show

The Rent Free game host this month is … you guessed it: Hugh Jackman.

The top scorers will still have a shot at free rent, but this time there’s a twist. The top 10 players will automatically win free rent for a month (up to $2,500), and for every correct answer Hugh gets, an additional rent winner will be added. The next 100 winners will get 1,000 Bilt Points, and the next 500 winners will receive 100 Bilt Points.

The game opened on August 28 at 12 p.m. ET and closes on September 1 at 3 p.m. ET. Results will be available in the Bilt Rewards mobile app after 4 p.m. ET on September 1.
