March Bilt Rent Day: JAL Transfer Bonus, a Thomas Keller Partnership, and More

Bilt Rewards is back with its latest monthly Rent Day promotion. On March 1, members can take advantage of a transfer bonus to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank, plus the option to use Bilt Cash to buy up 1 elite tier level and unlock an even higher transfer bonus. Up to $100 of Bilt Cash earned rolls over to the next year.

This month’s Rent Free game is headlined by Chef Thomas Keller, the first and only American-born chef to earn 3 Michelin stars multiple times. Bilt Rewards members will also earn double points on non-rent spending with their Bilt co-branded credit card, up to 1,000 points per Rent Day.

As always, members can still expect popular lifestyle perks tied to Rent Day, alongside exclusive experiences and partner offers rolled out as part of the March 1 event.

Bilt Rent Day: March 2026 Edition

Transfer Bilt Points to JAL Mileage Bank With a Bonus of up to 100%

March Rent Day is all about travel. On March 1 only, Bilt Rewards members can receive a transfer bonus when moving points to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank — and the size of that bonus depends on your Bilt Rewards elite status.

The standard transfer ratio from Bilt to JAL is 1:1, but Rent Day boosts that rate:

• Blue: 25% bonus
• Silver: 50% bonus
• Gold: 75% bonus
• Platinum: 100% bonus

You can also use your Bilt Cash to boost your status. Members can use $135 in Bilt Cash to unlock the transfer bonus of the next elite tier (for example, Blue members can access the Silver bonus). Platinum members can go 1 step further and increase their bonus to 125%.

Members must complete transfers to JAL on March 1 to receive the bonus. The Bilt Cash upgrade option will also only appear on the Japan Airlines transfer page during Rent Day.

Note that if your JAL Mileage Bank account is less than 60 days old, there will be a up to a 7-day hold before you can use any miles you transfer to actually book travel.

Bilt Neighborhood Comedy

Bilt Rewards members will have access to comedy shows at 17 venues in 12 cities. Locations include Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chandler, Arizona, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York City, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Somerville, Massachusetts.

There are 2 types of experiences available:

• Comedy Club Experiences: These cost $30 or $40 and include 2 drinks at most venues. Alternatively, you can redeem 2,000 or 2,500 points, respectively, to book these.
• Bespoke Comedy Experiences: These cost $75 (or can be booked for as low as 5,000 Bilt Points) and include premium shows at unique venues, along with drinks and light bites.

Bilt will also offer special experiences at venues, including Canlis in Seattle, The Abbey at the Bold Monk in Atlanta, Antidote in Brooklyn, Harper and Rye in San Francisco, Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, and My Girl in Boston.

Bookings for these tickets open at 11:50 a.m. ET on February 26 for Platinum and Gold members. Bookings open at noon for other members. Bookings close when they’re sold out or at 11 a.m. of the show date, whichever comes first.

Members can purchase up to 4 tickets each. All tickets are final sale and will be distributed via the ticket processor on the date of the show. Bilt Rewards members can apply up to $50 in Bilt Cash toward these experiences, with the rest paid in cash.

Neighborhood Dining Experience

This Rent Day, Bilt is expanding its dining experiences with 36 restaurants across 9 cities: Arlington, Virginia, Boston, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Jersey City, New Jersey, Miami, Nashville, New York City, and Washington, D.C.

Bookings open on February 26 at 11:50 a.m. ET for Platinum and Gold members and noon ET for all other members. Bookings close on February 28 at 5 p.m. ET for Rent Day dining experiences. Special events will close at 5 p.m. ET the day before each event. There’s a purchase limit of 4 seats per member, all experiences sales are final, and members can purchase multiple experiences this month.

These events feature multi-course tasting menus at premier neighborhood restaurants, with 3 to 4 courses or omakase, depending on the venue. Prices range from $35 to $75, and select locations offer drink add-ons ranging from $20 to $46. Optional cocktail pairings are available at most venues. Add-ons must be selected at the time of initial purchase and can also be redeemed with points.

Bilt Rewards members can apply up to $50 in Bilt Cash, with the remaining cost paid in cash.

These experiences are designed to connect Rent Day with local neighborhoods, giving members exclusive access to sought-after restaurants, new openings, and celebratory events across more cities than ever before.

Bilt Rent Day Fitness Experiences

Bilt collaborates with Barry’s and SoulCycle to offer free classes and exclusive add-ons on Rent Day. There are 520 spots available at Barry’s studios nationwide. There are 875 spots available at SoulCycle studios nationwide for Bilt members, though quantities vary by location.

All members were invited to book their complimentary class starting Thursday, February 26, 2026. Reservations open at 11:50 a.m. ET for Platinum and Gold members or noon ET for others. All bookings are final and close on Saturday, February 28, at 7 p.m. ET.

Score Complimentary Treats From the Bilt Neighborhood Cafe

Bilt has teamed up with Chef Thomas Keller to offer members a sweet treat on Rent Day. Stop in to the Bilt Neighborhood Cafe at 31 Bond Street in New York to claim a complimentary K+M Milk Coffee + Sea Salt chocolate and drip coffee. It will be available on Sunday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., while supplies last. When you arrive, scan your credentials at the counter to verify your Bilt membership.

Exclusive Member Collection — Bilt x Thomas Keller: Chef’s Selection

Some of Chef Thomas Keller’s award-winning culinary products will be featured in the Bilt Collection. These include items like the Cup4Cup gluten-free baking mixes and K+M Extravirgin Chocolate (Milk Coffee + Sea Salt).

These are available for purchase as of February 25 at 9 a.m. ET and will be sold while supplies last. Members can redeem 1,500 Bilt Points or pay $20 (nonrefundable) to order. Items ship within 1 to 2 weeks of the order date, and members will receive an email with tracking information once they have shipped.

The Rent Free game is back, this time with Bilt members teaming up with Chef Thomas Keller, the first and only American-born chef to hold multiple 3-Michelin-Star ratings. He’s behind some of the country’s most outstanding restaurants, including The French Laundry, Per Se, The Surf Club Restaurant, and Bouchon Bistro.

The top 10 prize winners will score free rent for a month (up to $2,500) and Bilt x Thomas Keller: Chef’s Selection.
