Bilt Rewards is back with the latest edition of its monthly Rent Day promotion. This time, Bilt members are eligible for a hotel elite status match and tickets to exclusive dining experiences and comedy shows.

Bilt took the points world by storm with its no-annual-fee credit card, top-tier transfer partners, and no transaction fees on rent payments. Bilt first introduced Rent Day in 2022, which gives its Bilt Rewards members exciting offers, bonus points, and chances to win prizes to kickstart the month.

On January 1, Bilt Rewards members will also enjoy double points on non-rent spending with their Bilt co-branded credit card (though you need to use the card 5 times each statement period to earn points), free SoulCycle rides and Rumble Boxing classes, and even a chance to have their rent paid.

Bilt Rent Day: January 2025 Edition

You don’t need a Bilt World Elite Mastercard^® to enjoy Bilt Rent Day. Everyone can access the perks by signing up for a free Bilt Rewards account. However, having the Bilt Card in your wallet means you’ll earn double points on the first of the month, excluding rent. You must use the card 5 times each statement period to earn points (see rewards & benefits).

ALL – Accor Live Limitless Status Match

On January 1, all Bilt Rewards members are eligible for a status match to the Accor Live Limitless (ALL) loyalty program. The higher your Bilt status, the higher the ALL status you’re eligible for. That said, there is a copay (paid with Bilt points) required to match to ALL’s higher status tiers.

Bilt Rewards members can activate their complimentary ALL elite status starting January 1, 2025, at 12 a.m. ET. Matched ALL status is valid through 2025 and can be extended through 2026 by spending 3 nights at Accor hotels. Members matching to ALL Silver can upgrade to ALL Gold by earning 8 qualifying nights in 2025.

Further, those who match to ALL Platinum will receive ALL Gold status through 2026 if they don’t requalify for ALL Platinum.

For some background, Accor is a French hotel group that owns brands like Fairmont, Ibis, Novotel, Raffles, and others. ALL Reward points can be redeemed for a fixed-value discount at properties worldwide. You can transfer Bilt Rewards, Capital One miles, and Citi ThankYou Rewards points to ALL.

ALL Silver is the entry-level status tier, including basic benefits like a welcome drink, late checkout, and bonus points on paid stays. Meanwhile, ALL Platinum gives members a higher points bonus, room upgrades, early check-in, and other benefits.

Hot Tip:

Even if you don’t plan to stay in an Accor hotel anytime soon, claim the complimentary status! It may be useful to match to another hotel, airline, or rental car loyalty program!

Bilt Neighborhood Dining

Bilt will drop New Year’s Eve reservations for curated tasting menus at top restaurants in its Neighborhood Dining program. Restaurants will be located in multiple cities and feature renowned chefs.

Reservations start at $75 or 5,000 Bilt Rewards points per person and will be available on December 27, 2024, at 11:50 a.m. ET for Platinum members and noon ET for all other members.

Bilt Neighborhood Comedy

Bilt has partnered with comedian and impressionist Matt Friend to curate shows at locations that aren’t your typical comedy club. Each show features up-and-coming comedians and includes light bites and complimentary drinks for Bilt Rewards members 21 and older.

Tickets start at $75 or 5,000 Bilt points each, with a maximum of 2 tickets per person. Seats will be available in the Bilt Rewards app at 11:50 a.m. ET on December 27, 2024, for Platinum members and noon ET for everyone else.

SoulCycle Rent Day Ride

Rent Day Rides — 45-minute, full-body indoor cycling classes — are back on January 1 at 50+ SoulCycle studios nationwide.

You can book your slot starting at 11 a.m. ET on December 27, 2024 — or 10 minutes earlier at 10:50 a.m. ET for Bilt Rewards Platinum members. Additionally, all members can receive a complimentary bike in the themed class when booking directly through the Bilt Rewards app.

Additionally, 1 Rent Day rider will have the lucky fortune of having their rent paid (up to $2,500).

Hot Tip:

If you book but can’t make your ride, be sure to cancel by December 1 at 5 p.m. local time. Otherwise, you may be charged a $30 cancellation fee.

Rumble Boxing Rent Day Classes

Bilt Rewards also announced that Rumble Boxing is joining its Fitness Experiences program. Bilt Rewards members can book free Rent Day classes at the Rumble Boxing studios in Alpharetta, Georgia; Chicago; Frisco, Texas; Miami Beach; New York; Washington, D.C.; and West Hollywood.

Like SoulCycle classes, you can book free Rumble Boxing classes starting at 11 a.m. ET on December 27, 2024. Bilt Rewards Platinum members can book classes 10 minutes earlier at 10:50 a.m. ET. You cannot cancel Rumble Boxing’s Rent Day classes; no-shows are charged a $30 fee.

Rent Free Game Show

Answer questions correctly for your chance to win free rent! This month’s Rent Free Game Show will feature former professional baseball player Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez.

You can log into your Bilt app (iOS, Android) to access the game as of December 26 at noon ET. The top 10 scoring players will be December’s winners and get free rent (up to $2,500). The next 500 top scorers will earn bonus Bilt Rewards points.

The game will be available until 3 p.m. ET on January 1, and answers will be revealed an hour later at 4 p.m.

Rent Day for Bilt Cardholders

Although the Bilt Card has a $0 annual fee (rates & fees), it delivers a solid return on spending:

3x points on dining
2x points on travel
1x points on other purchases (including rent)
Use the card 5 times each statement period to earn points (see rewards & benefits)

With January’s Rent Day, cardholders can earn double points on all purchases for 24 hours starting on January 1 at 12 a.m. ET — up to 1,000 bonus points. This brings earnings up to:

6x points on dining
4x points on travel
2x points on other purchases (excluding rent)

Remember, you must use the card 5 times each statement period to earn points (see rewards & benefits).

This puts the Bilt Card at the top of the heap for earning at restaurants. Since we value Bilt Rewards points at 1.8 cents apiece, you’ll get a 10.8% return on dining spend on January 1. And don’t forget about Bilt Dining, which can boost earnings up to 16x points per dollar!

In contrast, the American Express^® Gold Card earns 4x Membership Rewards points per $1 spent at restaurants worldwide (up to $50,000 of annual spending, then 1x thereafter). We value Amex Membership Rewards points at 2.2 cents apiece, which means you get 8.8% back when using the Amex Gold card.

Considering Bilt’s transfer partners include World of Hyatt and Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, Rent Day is a valuable proposition for cardholders.

Final Thoughts

Bilt Rent Day continues to be a great day to earn and burn some valuable Bilt Rewards points. This month’s Accor status match means you’ll enjoy bonus perks when you stay with the hotel group in the new year.
