Bilt Rewards is back with the latest edition of its monthly Rent Day promotion. However, this time there are no lucrative transfer bonuses to take advantage of. Instead, members will have the option to redeem their points for gift cards with up to a 100% bonus.

Additionally, on July 1, customers will have a chance to have their rent paid (see rewards & benefits), free food, access to exclusive events, and more.

Bilt took the points world by storm with its $0-annual-fee credit card (rates & fees), top-tier transfer partners, and no transaction fees on rent payments. Bilt first introduced Rent Day in 2022, which gives its members exciting offers, bonus points, and chances to win prizes to kickstart the month.

Plus, Bilt Rewards members will enjoy double points on non-rent spending, up to 1,000 points per Rent Day, with their Bilt co-branded credit card (though they must use the card 5 times each statement period to earn points), free SoulCycle rides, and Barry’s exercise classes.

Bilt Rent Day: July 2025 Edition

You don’t need a Bilt Mastercard (rates & fees) to enjoy Bilt Rent Day. Everyone can access the perks by signing up for a free Bilt Rewards account. However, having the Bilt Card in your wallet means you’ll earn double points on the first of the month, up to 1,000 points, excluding rent. Just note that you must use the card 5 times each statement period to earn points (see rewards & benefits).

Gift Card Redemption Bonus

Bilt has offered some lucrative Rent Day transfer bonuses, but this is not one of those Rent Days.

On July 1, members can redeem their points for gift cards with a bonus of up to 100%. Gift cards are available at more than 125 brands, including Amazon, Airbnb, Instacart, Saks Fifth Avenue, Uber, and more.

However, the amount of your bonus will depend on your Bilt Rewards elite status tier.

Bilt Silver

Bilt Blue

The transfer bonus will be active from 12 a.m. ET until 11:59 p.m. PT on July 1.

While some Platinum members may find value with select gift card partners, we think that saving your points for a future redemption is probably the better move.

We value Bilt Rewards points at 1.8 cents apiece, so even with the 100% bonus, you would be getting just 1.4 cents of value per point since gift card redemptions are worth less than other ways to use your Bilt points. Toward gift cards, points are worth just 0.7 cents each normally — so a maximum of 1.4 cents on July 1, thanks to the bonus.

Event dates will vary by location throughout the month of July.

You can book your slot starting at noon ET on June 27, 2025 — or 10 minutes earlier at 11:50 a.m. ET for Bilt Rewards Platinum and Gold members. Additionally, all members can receive a complimentary bike in the themed class when booking directly through the Bilt Rewards app.

These SoulCycle bookings can’t be canceled, and not showing up may result in a $30 fee. If you’re new to SoulCycle, check out Bilt’s guide to get ready for your ride.

Rent Free Game Show

Answer questions correctly for your chance to win free rent! This month’s Rent Free Game Show will feature comedian Andrew Schulz.

You can log into your Bilt app to access the game as of June 26 at noon ET. The top 20 scoring players (normally just 10) will be July’s winners and get free rent (up to $2,500). The next 100 top scorers will earn 1,000 bonus Bilt Rewards points, while the next 500 highest scorers will win 100 bonus points.

The game will be available until 3 p.m. ET on July 1, and answers will be revealed an hour later at 4 p.m.

Complimentary Pigs in a Blanket at the Bilt Neighborhood Café

Bilt is partnering with American Bar to offer members a complimentary pigs in a blanket on Tuesday, July 1 — available while supplies last from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Pigs in a blanket will also be available for purchase at the café throughout July.

Members will need to scan their Bilt account at the counter to verify membership before receiving a complimentary sandwich. There will also be live DJ music starting at 11 a.m. at the café.

Rent Day for Bilt Cardholders

Although the Bilt Card’s annual fee is $0 (rates & fees), it delivers a solid return on spending:

  • 3x points on dining
  • 2x points on travel
  • 1x points on other purchases (including rent, up to 100,000 points in a calendar year)
  • Use the card 5 times each statement period to earn points (see rewards & benefits)

With July’s Rent Day, cardholders can earn double points on all purchases for 24 hours starting on July 1 at 12 a.m. ET — up to 1,000 bonus points. This brings earnings up to:

  • 6x points on dining
  • 4x points on travel
  • 2x points on other purchases (excluding rent)
  • Use the card 5 times each statement period to earn points (see rewards & benefits)

This puts the Bilt Card at the top of the heap for earning at restaurants. Since we value Bilt Points at 1.8 cents apiece, you’ll get a 10.8% return on dining spend on July 1. And don’t forget about Bilt Dining, which can boost earnings up to 16x points per $1 spent!

In contrast, the American Express® Gold Card earns 4x Membership Rewards points per $1 spent at restaurants worldwide (up to $50,000 of annual spending, then 1x). We value Amex Membership Rewards points at 2.2 cents apiece, which means you get 8.8% back when using the Amex Gold card.

Considering Bilt’s transfer partners include World of Hyatt and Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, Rent Day is a valuable proposition for cardholders.

Final Thoughts

Bilt Rent is a great way to earn (and sometimes redeem) Bilt Rewards points. This month may not be the best month to spend your points during Rent Day, as the gift card bonus won’t make sense for many members.

However, there are some unique experiences and free events to take advantage of.
