Peacock is now bundling its service with Apple TV. There are 2 plans: Apple TV and Peacock Premium and Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus — and you can use your digital entertainment credit from the Platinum Card® from American Express to cover the charge.

Here’s what you need to know.

Peacock Rolls Out Apple TV Bundle

The Apple TV and Peacock Premium bundle costs $14.99 monthly and includes TV, Peacock originals, live sports, and Apple Originals. Apple TV shows and movies do not have ads, but ads are included on Peacock.

The premium option, Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus, costs $19.99 monthly. It includes all the benefits of the Premium plan, plus no ads on Peacock and the ability to download shows from the streaming service.

To take a look at the bundles, simply check out this link.

If you aren’t familiar with Peacock, it is a streaming service from NBCUniversal. The app has a ton of exciting original TV shows and movies, such as The Traitors, Love Island Games, and more.

This is an exciting deal from Peacock and Apple TV.

But the bundle has added value, especially if you have the Amex Platinum card. That’s because you can use the Amex Platinum card’s digital entertainment credit for Peacock upon enrollment.

If you need a refresher, the Amex Platinum card comes with a digital entertainment credit of up to $25 per month (up to $300 annually) on eligible purchases made with your card on one or more of the following: Disney+, the Disney+ Bundle, ESPN+, Hulu, the New York Times, Paramount+, Peacock, the Wall Street Journal, YouTube Premium, and YouTube TV.

Bottom Line:

With the credit, you can cover the entire charge no matter which Peacock bundle you choose. Because the no-ads option only costs $19.99, we recommend choosing that plan.

Enrolling in the Digital Entertainment Credit

Before signing up for the Peacock bundle (or any eligible purchase or subscription), you have to first enroll in the entertainment credit benefit with your Amex Platinum card.

To do this, log in to your Amex Platinum card account online. Select the “Rewards & Benefits” box, then select the “Benefits” tab. Scroll down to find the “$300 Digital Entertainment Credit” option, and click “Get Started.”

Because Peacock is one of the eligible streaming services, paying through the platform should trigger the digital entertainment credit.

Final Thoughts

Peacock and Apple TV can now be bundled together, which is good news for anyone who just wants to sign up for services in 1 place and make 1 payment each month — not a bunch of separate services you need to track individually.

The Peacock and Apple TV bundle is an easy way to use your $25 digital entertainment credit each month on the Amex Platinum card. You can get access to both platforms for $19.99 or less, depending on which option you choose, and still have some credit left over to use on another platform.
