Outdoor lovers rejoice: a new Cambria Hotels property has opened in Colorado, and it is located in the beautiful Copper Mountain region.

Here’s what to know about the new hotel.

The Cambria Hotel Copper Mountain has 127 rooms spanning across 4 floors. Casual and expert ski lovers will appreciate its prime location near Copper Mountain’s hiking and skiing trails.

Inside the hotel, guests will be treated to amenities such as an on-site bar, a grab-and-go meal option, a fitness center, free Wi-Fi, meeting and event space, and even an outdoor hot tub. Cambria Hotel Copper Mountain is located about a 90-minute drive from downtown Denver.

“Cambria has always been committed to growing in highly sought-after markets, and the opening of the Cambria Hotel in Copper Mountain—a thriving ski village in the heart of the Rocky Mountains—represents a natural build on this strategy,” said Mark Shalala, Senior Vice President of Development, Upscale Brands, Choice Hotels.

The hotel becomes Cambria’s third in the Centennial State after Cambria Hotel Fort Collins and Cambria Hotel Denver International Airport.

Cambria is one of Choice Hotels‘ most recognizable brands. The brand has a significant presence with over 68 hotels open, including some in cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. An additional 70 hotels are in the pipeline, Choice says.

Booking the Cambria Hotel Copper Mountain

Cambria Hotel Copper Mountain is now open for guests and is participating in the Choice Privileges program, meaning guests can earn and redeem points at the property.

Rates at the hotel start at around $112 or 25,000 Choice points per night for dates through the beginning of October.

Choice Privileges points are some of the easiest hotel points you can earn. If you want to book a stay at this hotel, you can transfer Amex Membership Rewards points or Capital One miles to Choice Privileges at a ratio of 1:1. Additionally, Citi ThankYou Points transfer to Choice at a 1:2 ratio, meaning you’ll get 2 Choice points for every 1 ThankYou Point transferred.

Bottom Line:

You can also open the Choice Privileges® Mastercard®. This card earns 5x points per dollar spent at eligible Choice hotels and comes with automatic Gold Elite status — all with no annual fee!

Final Thoughts

This is exciting news, particularly for skiers and hikers who now have another option when visiting the area. Luckily, rates are pretty reasonable whether you’re paying cash or using points, so if you’re planning to visit Copper Mountain, this hotel should be at the top of your list!

The information regarding the Choice Privileges® Mastercard® was independently collected by Upgraded Points and not provided nor reviewed by the issuer.
