Exciting news from Capital One today: the issuer has revealed that it plans to open a new Capital One Lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

Here’s what you need to know.

Capital One Lounge Opening in Terminal 4

Capital One says it will open a vast 13,000-square-foot Capital One Lounge in the retail hall of New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport in Terminal 4.

The amenities offered will include a full-service coffee bar, grab-and-go and small plate options, shower suites, power outlets at every seat, Wi-Fi, and more. Capital One says the lounge will feature an “in-lounge bodega,” a beloved staple in New York City, along with collaborations with local breweries and mixologists, among other exciting offerings.

Air India, Delta Air Lines, Emirates, Virgin Atlantic, and Minute Suites also have lounges in the terminal.

The only way to access the Capital One JFK Lounge (when it opens) is with an eligible card, such as a Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit CardInformation collected independently. Both cards include unlimited complimentary access to more than 1,500 lounges worldwide through Priority Pass, Plaza Premium Lounges, and the Capital One Lounge network (2 guests allowed for Plaza Premium and Capital One Lounge network).

It’s unclear whether non-cardholders can pay an entry fee to visit the JFK lounge. Currently, guests can enter other Capital One lounges for $65 per visit. However, if you don’t want to pay that fee, you’re better off having an eligible Capital One card.
